I bought this car a few weeks ago to replace my Jetta as a daily driver. It was great for the first week then it started having some issues with running hot. I replaced the thermostat, waterpump, radiator and the entire cooling fan setup. I've been on a bunch of forums and everyone says these cars are very difficult to bleed air from the cooling system and they hold air pockets. I've been messing with it on and off for a week now and it still acts like it has an air pocket. The car will sit and idle in the drive way for 20+min without ever running hot. When driving the temp starts to go up. The clutch fan was pretty worn the the OEM electric fan was bad as well. I replaced them both with a huge electric fan off a 3.8 Taurus. I have run these fans on 500+ horse power Mustangs and they have never failed to keep it cool so its probably way over kill for this application. I have tried bleeding the system 4 times now and still have no luck. The oil is clean, no water, the exhaust is clear no smoke. Compression check  Cylinder 1: 197, Cylinder 2: 191, Cylinder 3: 199, Cylinder 4: 196. No signs of a head gasket leak that I can find.  I have put quite a bit of $ into this thing, it has a nice Sony stereo with aux port and a USB port to read music from a thumb drive. Infinity speakers front and back. B&M short shifter, Megan lowering springs 3" stainless exhaust from down pipe back all stainless. I also have a gallon and a half of Dupont Chroma Premier Basecoat sonic blue paint and a full gallon of BASF CTR clear with reducer and activator. (more then enough to paint the whole car easily) Car has 213,000 miles on it. As I said oil looks clear and there is nothing smoking from exhaust and it has no miss when revving. 502-298-0222 call or text. I Open to trade for a dependable car or truck. I have borrowed a car to drive for the last week now and I NEED a dependable car to drive for work ect. so let me know what you have to trade, must have working heat and a/c and be dependable.  Please call or text for fastest reply.  Car does start and run but as I said it runs hot after a little driving so you will need a trailer or dolly   Car was a TX car so it is not rusty or rotted out, my big reason for buying this one.  Shock towers are perfect, underside has no rust either.
