This is a great car that gets a lot of looks. Everyone loves it except my girlfriend. She wouldn't mind it if it were shiny. I think the patina is great and really like it the way it is. I just don't drive it enough to keep it around. I don't need to sell it, but if it brings the right price, it's gone. I bought it a few years ago and have done a few things to it. I lowered it with fatman uprights in the front and some clamps in the back. It rides great, like a Buick should. It's not bouncy or rough riding at all. I replace the shocks and tie rods and brakes when I lowered it. The generator quit charging some time ago too, so I added a one-wire alternator. These Buicks start by pressing the gas pedal all the way to the floor. The way I understand it, if you do away with the generator, you lose that ability and have to add a button. I just wired the generator to the intake manifold, rat-rod style. I never open the hood anyway. The car always starts and started right up after sitting all winter last year. The transmission shifts great. The heater core started leaking shortly after I got it, so I just bypassed the heater hoses. The blower motor never worked while I've had it any way. Take a look at the pics and let me know if you have any questions. The floor boards do have some rust in them, but they were repaired by a previous owner. They weren't repaired show quality, but they do keep your feet dry.
