Vehicle Detail

This unit was produced on March 12th of 1964 and is serial number 619 from the Dearborn plant, making it the forth day of regular production. It's a basic coupe with the 170 inline 6 and the 3 speed manual transmission. It does still have the generator. I would classify this one as a survivor. The interior was restored before I got it. I've replaced the hood and transmission with the correct ones, but other than that, not much. I'll answer any questions I can, but I'm not an expert by any means. I don't want to present this car any better than it is. It does have paint flaking in a few spots and pretty bad bubbling in a couple, most notably the bottom of the drivers door. On the other hand the floor pans and underbody look good. I have the drivers door panel off because the window is not tracking up correctly the entire way, just haven't gotten around to doing anything with it yet. That's pretty much why I'm selling the car. I just don't have the inclination to keep it up and running like it deserves. On Nov-20-11 at 11:16:34 PST, seller added the following information: In answer to a question I've posted a picture of the underside of the hood to show the dimples. I forgot in the original posting to mention that I have installed a new gas tank. Someone asked about the engine block codes - As near as I can see (the lighting was not great) they are G4DE and 6015-A. If there is anything in front of those numbers it is hidden by the exhaust. I'll post pics of the undercarriage as soon as I can. On Nov-20-11 at 16:18:14 PST, seller added the following information: I'm told that the engine code of G4DE is most probably a C4DE that I just misread. On Nov-21-11 at 17:24:06 PST, seller added the following information: Added some pictures of the undercarriage. I also replaced the gas tank a couple of years ago. On Nov-23-11 at 13:48:52 PST, seller added the following information: I added a trunk picture and one of the inside of the rear fender from the trunk.
