You are bidding on the last remaining OVAL Beetle from the estate of Oskar Zernikow. This is a 1954 Oval that was at some time painted blue on the outside however it's original color is white. The inside is white. The car is complete with all fenders although the bumpers were gone. This car has semaphores but they have been sealed in with bondo. A pneumatic mini drill or rotozip will open those back up no problem. The vehicle does not run but the engine does turn. The motor has oil in it and would turn by putting a socket wrench on the lower pulley nut. There is some rot in the front of this vehicle in the spare tire well and with a little work it can easily be repaired, no apron needed. All of the glass is there and in the vehicle. It does have a full set of seats but I don’t think they are correct for a 54. The pan looks good and with no repairs that I can see. I stood on the floor & didn't fall through..... I weigh over 300... that’s a good thing, No rotten floors. There is no title for this vehicle. In the state of Mississippi prior to 1966 there were no titles issued for vehicles.
