Vehicle Detail

This is a very nice 1989 Land Cruiser. This vehicle spent the first 20 years of its life in California. There is 0 body rot, or under carriage rot. Very clean vehicle. I purchased this vehicle about one year ago. Since then I have added about $ 8000.00 in upgrades. All the upgrades were done, where applicable with OEM Toyota parts. 1. New OEM Toyota chrome - front grille, headlamp doors, rear license plate assembly, roof gutter trim, rocker panel trim. New OEM Toyota rear tail light lenses, front and rear side marker lights, complete with rubber seals. 2. New OEM Toyota rear bumper caps were added to a new OEM bumper, which has been powdercoated to match the new ARP front bumper. 3. The ARP front bumper has customized, by adding several lengths of 3/8 bar, to improve protection to the front end, in addition to a length of 1 1/2 for frontal hood protection. 4. Front bumper has LED marker/turn lights, in addition to 130 watt long range KC Hilites with stainless steel housings. Also added are the oversized HD red front tow hooks. Also added to the front bumper is a hitch receiver. ( not seen in front pictures because license plate bracket uses the receiver as a mounting bracket to display the license plate ). 5. Front and rear bumpers were then powdercoated in a color known as " cast iron ". ( Grey ) . 6. A/C system was upgraded to the 134a refrigerant in May 2011. System works very well. 7. New Sears Platium Diehard battery. 8. KN air filter. 9. New thermostat installed with new water hoses. 10. Summit Racing transmission cooler added. Cooler size 16x10x1.75 inches. 11. New master cylinder installed, fluid completely expelled and replaced with new fluid. 12. NAPA life time alternator installed. 13. New brakes front and rear. Low dust pads installed on front along with drilled rotors. 14. New Old Man Emu steering stabilizer installed along with 4 new Old Man Emu front and rear shocks. 15. Front end was realigned. 16. Greaseable spring shackles installed front and rear. 17. Stainless steel exhaust system added, from Y pipe back, including a stainless steel MagnaFlow muffler. 18. Windows were tinted dark all the way around. 19. Pioneer stereo has been installed. 20. Five new Eagle Alloy alumium wheels ( 16 x 8 ) were added ( including spare ). 21. Five new Firestone Destination M/T, LT285/75R16 were mounted on the Eagle wheels. These tires are a studdable tire, by using #17 studs. There are no studs in these tires at this time. 22. Spare tire ( on roof rack ) is protected from UV rays by a custom made HD tire cover. 23. Three new Thule roof bars are gutter mounted to hold the Yakima roof basket in place. 24. Complete new OEM Toyota head was installed Sep. 2011, by Toyota dealership. 25. The purchaser of this vehicle will also receive, the original OEM head, which was removed and replaced, with a new OEM head, and components. The original head has been resurfaced, valves ground, new valve seals installed, new valve springs installed, and new valve retainers applied. 26. Purchaser will also receive the five OEM original Land Cruiser chrome wheels, which 4 of the five have BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A 31x10.50R15, with about 40% tread. The original spare has the factory spare on it Dunlop P225/75R15. 27. Purchaser will also receive a Toyota Factory Service Manual. ( Excellent condition ). 28. Sears Diehard 425 watt AC/DC inverter, mounted under the drivers seat. Before I purchased vehicle in Dec. 2009, this vehicle had an additional $ 3600.00 of improvements done to it, to which I was given receipts for. New u joints, new springs, new seals, transmission shift kit, new transfer case, ect. This vehicle is, and has been a non smoking vehicle. Body is clear of any damage, with the exception of a very small ding the size of a pencil eraser, on the right side front fender. Thank You. On Nov-15-11 at 14:43:42 PST, seller added the following information: Also to note, Oil pressure gauge in instrument cluster does not work. I have a new OEM gauge to replace it but have not had the time to do so. Sight glass, covering left side instrument panel, is cracked. I have since installed a manual AutoMeter Cobalt oil pressure gauge, along with an electric AutoMeter Cobalt transmission temperature gauge. The condition of exterior paint, I would rate at 90%. Has a small area of paint fade on rear hatch. Windshield has 2 very small stone chips in it. I have also replaced the speedometer cable ( no more squeaks ), and I replaced the rear hatch shocks. ( Holds rear hatch up without it dropping down ). I have also installed, in the interior ceiling, two - round six inch white LED lights, with 64 diodes in each light, to improve night time visibility on the inside of the vehicle. Vehicle has the typical Land Cruiser oil leaks. This is my daily driver. It is driven every day. So the mileage listed will continue to accumulate. Thanks again.
