Up for sale is a 2003 20th Anniversary GTI in Jazz blue. There were 4000 sold in the US market with 1000 coming in Jazz blue. This car is number 817 of the limited run and has a custom center console that lists the car number and 20th anniversary information. Other great features of the 20th are premium Monsoon sound system, Recaro racing seats, custom interior, golf ball shifter, red performance brake calipers, 18” OZ alloy wheels, 20th AE body kit, performance suspension and 6 speed manual transmission. This car is almost stock with the exception of an added 28mm rear sway bar from Neuspeed, an APR R1 diverter valve and window tint. I also added the VW Monster mats that are great if you have wet shoes. I cannot express how much fun this car is to drive. Obviously there are faster cars on the road, but for me this car has the perfect balance of speed and handling. The added rear sway bar is very noticeable on tight corners and really makes for fun drives. The color is eye grabbing, the sound system is great and it shifts like a dream. The tires are a few years old but have less than 10k miles on them and perform very well. Mechanically this car is in excellent shape except for the power steering pump that will need to be replaced in a few thousand miles. I have regularly maintained this vehicle and even completed the timing belt work ahead of schedule. I have never had a mechanical problem with this car other than the regular stuff like a dead battery or flat tires here and there. I have all sets of keys, including the valet key, as well as manuals and even the original window sticker from the dealership. It has come time for me to sell this car and move into something larger that is kid friendly. I had always planned on making this a little racer with turbo upgrades, and to the right person this could be a very high performance vehicle. This has been my daily driver so there are a few cosmetic issues that I have taken pictures of. There are some small chips on the bumper from highway driving and a larger 1”x1.5” scratch on the front bumper that happened in transport when I moved the car to Tennessee. There is also a small spider crack in the front windshield, some wear and tear on the rims, and one of the side skirts is a little loose. The driver side seat has some stitches that are coming out and needs to be fixed. Finally, there are a few areas of the interior (small headliner area, and door panels) that have started to become unglued and are looking loose.
