1999 Ford Explorer 4 Door 4X4. 4.0 V6 automatic 206,177 miles. The color is Medium Wedgewood Metallic (Blue), with gray leather interior. This is a 12 year old vehicle that has been used for a daily driver since new, has never been abused but is not in showroom condition. This is a fully loaded Explorer with all the usual bells and whistles plus the electric moon roof option which was a high dollar otion in 1999. This old Explorer still sounds good and shifts as it should, and the 4-wheel drive works as it should, but it is starting to get a little rough around the edges. Some one backed into it with a trailer hitch and the front bumper cover is broken. The windshield is cracked on the passenger side. The leather seats are in good conditon but are starting to crack as most leather eventually does. The left rear door will not open due to a faulty handle mechanism. Althought the body over all is very straight, with the exception of a few dings and scrapes, it looks very good for it's age and there is rust starting to form on the wheel openings and a spot under the right rear door. The tires are Bridgestone and probably have 30% of the tread left. The car is equiped with an Alpine model CDE-9843 radio/CD player. Passed Missouri safety inspection in May of 2011. Good Missouri title. Would make a great hunting or fishing vehicle, snow pusher, or rock climber. I have tried to descibe this Explorer to the best of my ability but probably missed something that you need to know, if so just ask. If you are close and would like to inspect the Explorer in person prior to the end of the auction again just ask and arrangements will be made.
