Vehicle Detail
1930 Ford Model A Tudor Sedan Rat Rod Body is steel and has classic patina character. Pin striping throughout. Fabric covered plywood roof and cherry wood bows. Hidden fasteners. Chopped 5" - Channeled 4". 2x4 tube steel chassis. 1" tube steel floor structure with complete sheet metal floor. Wheel base = 106" 1954 Chevy truck front axle and drum brakes. Ford 9" rear axle and drum brakes, including parking brake. Brake proportioning valve. 1977 Chrysler 400 big block engine and 727 Torqueflight automatic transmission. Approximately 44,000 miles. B&M shifter. Headers with Supertrap arrestors. Mustang radiator with reproduction fiberglass 1932 Ford shell. Electric cooling fan. Rear main seal does leak a bit, but not enough for me to warrant fixing. Aftermarket wiring harness. Vega steering box and removable steering wheel for easier access. Turnsignals, flashers, brake lights, headlights (low and high), horn. Speedometer, odometer, oil pressure, voltmeter, fuel gauges. All in working order. Safety glass in all but the door windows. Windshield tilts open. There is a crack in the drivers side rear window - adds rat rod character. Interior of doors are skinned in aluminum, with pin striping. I have mainly drove the car around town and in a parade since purchasing from the previous owner. He did tell me that at 60+ mph the car does exhibit a wobble. Was told it is a issue and the bias ply tires. I have not had the time to work on it. I have been intending to install brake residual valves, since the master cylinder is below the wheel cylinders. Without these the pedal is squishy, but the brakes do work. I have the valves and they are included in the purchase. Car is major attention grabber. Low and loud. I am selling due to lack of time to use and it is taking up garage space. Clear Iowa 1930 street rod title. $500 down due 48 hours after auction close via Paypal.
