I had 167 watchers last time and received a lot of emails and a few phone calls after the auction ended saying they missed out , well here's your chance to bid again.. Since the last auction, I got the car running it needed a fuel pump. I had a holley fuel pump laying around so i threw it on and fired her up! the one thing i did notice is the car could use a new fuel tank it had a couple of pin hole leaks when i put gas in it .. other than that it ran just fine and starts right up. So if you are going to keep it all original and drive it around i would put a new tank in it and factory pump.. other than that she's good to go. Really nice & clean and " RUNNING " Chevy Vega GT , this a a good deal for a clean car!! I have a 1976 Vega GT , one owner car . it's been a Florida car it's whole life . this car is really straight & clean and is all original and is about 99% rust free !! it has the 4cylinder 5 speed in it. I also have all the paper work from the original owner , original title,( window sticker that shows the car sold for $4,502.00 when new ) owners manual . I have all the paper work and maintenance records from the owner in a 1'' thick folder.. This Car is in great shape and the Body is perfect to do a V8 conversion or whatever you would like to put in it or just leave it original and drive it. It does run and drive , it's probably could use a tune up in the future but it does run pretty good. it's a 1976 so it does have some paint fade and the two front bucket seats will need new seat covers, and maybe some other miscellaneous little things. you have to remember this all original so everything is from 1976 .. any questions for serious buyers you can call me @ 847-420-3290 I will end the auction early if i do come to a deal with someone. thanks for the interest and bidding.. this is a good deal for someone it's getting harder to find these cars this clean !!! This is for the people who want to keep it with the 4 cylinder in it ... Just to be clear on this car , you just can't buy it and think you can drive it home . It has been parked in a garage for for how long i don't know ? I brought it home put a battery in it poured some gas down the Carburetor and got her to start . she does run pretty good for sitting for a while...... Since it really hasn't been driven on the streets in a while , i will tell you to trailer it home.. it will drive up on your trailer and around , but before you decide to drive it every day you would want to check it out , since it's been garaged for a long while.. I have got a couple of questions about the car , I bought it from a old lady .. I'm selling it because i have more projects going on right now and it would just sit ,and i don't have the space to put it in. It is a 35 year old car, it's going to need work if you want to drive it the way it is , general maintenance ? it was parked for how many years I don't know ? but it was garaged i do know that. This is a great solid body to start with for whatever you would like to do with it V8 swap or keep it original . I need to mention it does come with some extra parts , it comes with a extra drivers fender , extra set of tail lights , extra shifter assembly, and some extra chrome trim, all of these parts go with this auction so the winner is getting this stuff with the car.. it is already in the car in the back hatch area as you can see in a picture. look at it as a " Bonus " to whoever wins !
