Today i am listing this car for my friend Anja . She bought it this year from the second owner and it has been a wonderful car for her . Her Job is taking her back to Europe , so she asked me to help her sell it . So here it is on Ebay . This car is almost 30 years old ( built in May 1982) and it has only 127 k miles on it . This is only about 4k miles a year and especially low for this kind of car . These 3 liter turbo diesel engines are known to be the most reliable engines Mercedes ever built . They usually go for over 500k miles before any major engine work is needed . There are several cars with the same engine on Ebay right now with 400k + miles and still running well .  This particular wagon was always pampered and it shows . It was finished in "english red " ( i think it is color code 504 ) with palomino color interior . My friend always had the car garaged . So there are no dings dents or scratches on the body . The paint shines like new and it is a gorgeous color combination with the tan interior . She got compliments on the car every time she drives it . The interior is also still in incredible shape , as the many pictures will show . The carpets are clean and she also just got a new set of Mercedes floor mats . The seats are free of any rips or tears and still look and feel great . Even the wood panels are still in excellent condition . But please see all the up-loaded pictures . They can tell the story better than i can .  But the best thing about this car is the way it drives . It always starts up right away and it is a pleasure to drive . With the turbo charger it has plenty of power and is not slow at all . The transmission shifts perfectly through all the gears . Just last month she had a full service done on the car . All the fluids were changed , the valves adjusted and new tires were installed . She also just had the shocks for the rear hatch door replaced and the car was fully detailed . The motor mounts were replaced 2 weeks ago and the power antenna is new as well . This car is ready to go for every driving for many years to come . With the low miles it would be a good candidate for a collector . There are just not that many turbo diesel wagons with low mileage and in this condition around anymore , so they have been going up in value over the last few years already .  This car could also be converted to run on Bio diesel . This way you could drive it on straight vegetable oil or with a conversion even with free waste oil from restaurants . I have never tried it , but with gas prices the way they are , it sure sounds like a great idea . This is a very economical car already . My friend got constantly between 23 and 28 miles per gallon of diesel while cruising between 85-90 miles per hour on the freeway .  This wonderful wagon is 30 years old and because of it will be sold "as is" and without a warranty . I would prefer to sell it to somebody local , who could actually come out and see /appreciate it . I filled it up before i took the pictures and it was leaking . The whole reservoir has been replaced since .
