Chances are if you are looking at this ad, you already know what this Jeep is, how much they are worth, and how few were built. The Silver Anniversary Jeep is very collectable. There is another one currently on here beautifully restored and offered for sale that is definetely worth a look. Gorgeously done. This one is a complete running and driving project for this winter. My wife and I have owned this Jeep for over 10 years and we bought it from a relative who had it for several years before that. It runs and drives very good, but the body needs to be restored if you want a collectable Jeep. The rust never bothered us because the Jeep was purchased to enjoy. We went 4 wheeling, boating, camping, and going through mud and snow drifts with this Jeep. The kids loved riding in the back. It never fails to start no matter how cold out. (switch operated electric fuel pump to prime carb). We no longer have time to maintain or enjoy this Jeep and the reality is we will never be able to restore or give it the love it deserves. So here it is, up for bid, with NO RESERVE, selling to the highest bidder at the end of this auction. The frame on this Jeep is solid. The body tub will need quite a bit of work, possibly replaced. If you just want to enjoy it as is, you don't have to do a thing. Sometimes Jeeps are funner that way. It travels down the road just fine. As you can see, it will need an extensive cosmetic restoration to be nice. My wife and I are licenced dealers in the state of Colorado, but this has been our personal recreational vehicle. Not a primary vehicle. Most of the wording in our ads is representative of selling auction vehicles off our lot, but this is a private sale, title in our name, and it's not going through the business paperwork. Winning bidder will be handed over a correctly signed off title and a hand written bill of sale after full payment has cleared. All other terms are basically the same. I highly encourage inspections on all vehicles offered, either in person, or by a hired professional. There are many different companies that specialize in doing nothing but that. They generally charge between $100-$175 and THAT may truly be a bargain to give you piece of mind and any additional info you may need. The vehicle will be made available for inspection by appointment. If you decide to forego the inspection, there really is no reason you should be unhappy about anything after the auction has ended. Most of our vehicles are generally purchased at dealer only auctions for the sole purpose of resale. We sell these vehicles FAR below any dealer retail prices. This gives you room for any additional repairs that you see fit. They have not undergone ANY type of inspections/ or tests for ANYTHING. This includes emmissions and safety inspections. We cannot guarantee compliance of the vehicle for your state, because every state has different requirements as far as safety and emissions inspections are concerned. Unfortunately, I do not have a crystal ball and cannot predict when something might fail. One thing I've learned for sure in this business .... Anything mechanical can break down at any moment. I don't care if it's brand new. You should expect to do some type of basic scheduled maintenance or repairs to any USED vehicle listed on here, or for that matter, anywhere. In conclusion, it is ULTIMATELY the buyer's responsibility to have fully satisfied themselves as to the overall condition of the vehicle. Titles: All vehicles that we purchase and offer for resale have a clear Title. We do NOT knowingly deal in any vehicles with salvage title histories, period. The State of Colorado, along with many other states, automatically exempt the recorded mileage on the title for any vehicle over ten years old, and over 100,000 miles. Therefore, on these vehicles, the titles will simply be "exempted miles" and have a "0" indicated for odometer reading.
