I have no doubt I am going to regret this, but I have decided to put my 1998 AEV Style Stretched (pre Jeep Brute) Jeep Wrangler Pickup up for sale. Think of it as a modern day J8 Scrambler that can get you where you need to be everyday with reliability and as much comfort as a 1998 Wrangler Can give you that is lifted and sitting on oversized tires. Before we even get into how unique this rig is with its pickup bed and custom stretched Body and Frame, I have to stress the kind of exceptional condition everything is in, especially for a Jeep that likes to find its way off-road. I bought the Jeep a few years ago completely restored, refit and 100% gone through. That means the paint, motor, transmission, clutch, rugs, rims, tires and more were all gone through and or replaced. As a result the Jeep looks like it is only a couple of years old and runs like it too. Going on the word of the previous owner the total mileage on the Drive Train Rebuild is around 50K and as I mentioned….She looks and runs as so. If the Jeep’s totally unique stature is not enough to get you noticed, it also has a custom Kenwood Stereo with a sound bar, Sony amp and a box with two 8” Sony subs. So, you can be seen and heard without any problems. Last Winter I added new Rancho Shocks, This summer, I also had the entire break system replaced and added a brand new Best-Top Replacement top. It also has a new exhaust manifold gasket, plugs, wires and Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil. This is my third Jeep and by far and away my favorite that I have owned. The extra space in the bed makes it an epic vehicle for road trips, camping, tailgating you name it. Size wise it is about the same as a TJ Unlimited but having the bed versus inside storage is an all-around great option. I have enjoyed the Jeep as a part of my multi-car collection and I have maintained it with an open checkbook. It is 100% daily driver ready and remains waiting to take its next owners through some of its favorite trails. I might consider a vintage sports car trades like a like for a Lotus, Devin, Morgan, Porsche or TVR. Or if someone is looking to get out of a 2006 or later Touareg or Cayenne I would definitely put some cash out to trade up. Why spend over thirty grand on a new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon when you can get a one of a kind head turning icon for much, much less.
