Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a very nice 2006 Saab 9-3 SportWagon. This 9-3 is equipped with the turbocharged four cylinder engine and the desirable manual transmission. As you can see, this Saab is a great looking wagon. The black finish looks great from any angle and has a mile deep shine. I would rate the exterior of this Saab to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition for the miles. There is a small dent in the rear gate. Otherwise, there are no notable flaws in the finish beyond normal wear. All of the glass and lenses appear to be in tact. The alloy wheels give this wagon a great look and are wrapped in good rubber all around. Please review all of the photos. I would rate the interior of this wagon to be in ABOVE AVEARGE condition for the age and miles of this vehicle. The door panels are clean and tight all around. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the cabin. The headliner is clean. The cargo area is spacious and clean (cargo cover is included). The dark gray leather interior is in good condition througout. This Saab is loaded with features. The power windows, locks, mirrors and seats all work properly. The automatic climate control system is in perfect working order and the air conditioner blows ice cold air. The stereo is the original Saab CD sound system which sounds excellent. Both front seats are heated, too. An onboard computer and information center relays all important vehicle and trip data to the driver. This Saab 9-3 is also equipped with OnStar if you wish to subscribe to their services. Mechanically, this Saab appears to be in good running condition. The 2.0L turbocharged engine starts up and runs smoothly. I noticed no leaks or smoke coming from this vehicle. The suspension is nice and tight. The steering is tight and responsive. The brakes stop this car very well. This wagon is a blast to drive. I've personally driven this Saab more than 300 miles. It handles great and is a very easy car to drive. The clutch engages well and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes are smooth through the five speed manual gear box. The turbo spools up fast and shows no sign of bearing or seal wear. Cruising on the highway is a walk in the park. Saabs reputation for performance and durability preceed it. The only issue this Saab has is the common fuel transmitter failure. The gas gauge always reads empty. This is a common issue for Saabs and is fixed by replacing the fuel pump assembly. The part is roughly $400 and it takes about two hours. Option one is to leave it and just set your trip odometer...this is free and what most people do. Option two is to have it replaced. You can have this done at your own mechanics shop or I can have it done for about $500+-(paid by you in advance so I can pay my mechanic). I will let that up to the winning bidder.
