Each vehicle is thoroughly road tested before being listed on ebay so that I can accurately describe how each vehicle looks, runs and drives. We encourage every potential bidder to come see and drive a vehicle in person before bidding. Vehicles are shown by appointment at my York, PA warehouse. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction just in time for winter is a little 1995 Suzuki Sidekick JLX 16V in four door/hard top form. In spite of its small size, the Suzuki Sidekick's reputation as a capable and durable SUV preceeds it. I would rate the condition of the body of this Suzuki to be in BELOW AVERAGE condition. This Sidekick is showing some age. Please review all photos closely. You will see that there is moderate rust on each of the rear fenders, along the rocker panels and a little at the top of the windshield. Rust is a common issue for these trucks. Additionally, there are a few notable dents here and there. While not being in complete disrepair, this truck is definitely not the best looking one running around. All of the glass and lenses appear to be in tact. The tires show good tread all around, too. I would rate the interior of this Sidekick to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition...especially compared to the exterior. The carpets are clean looking throughout. The dash is not cracked and everything seems to be working properly. The seats are actually in very nice condition, showing almost no wear. The climate control system is working properly. This is an air conditioning equipped vehicle but it is not working. The radio is an older aftermarket unit. It works but doesn't sound spectacular. The cargo area is spacious and clean, too. There is a sunroof which does not appear to leak. Mechanically, this seems to be a tough little Sidekick. The 1.6L 16v engine starts easily and idles smoothly. There is an audible whining sound in the accessory system but I cannot pinpoint the source. My guess would be the a/c compressor. The engine does not appear to have any active leaks. During the time I have driven this Suzuki, it has impressed me with better road manners than I expected judging from its physical condition. The temperature stays nice and cool at all times. There were no warning lights on. The little engine makes good power. The clutch does not slip or chatter and gear changes are smooth. This truck will do 75mph down the highway with absolutely no problem. There is no shaking or pulling in the front end out on the highway. I actually drove this 4x4 during that little freak snow storm we had the other week. The 4WD system is tested and working fine. This little Suzuki is an absolute blast to drive. It's inspected in PA through April, 2012. One other thing of note...when I purchased this vehicle, the odometer was not working. Additionally, the sixth digit has fallen out (which is not unusual). The odometer shows 56,XXX miles but there is no number in the hundred thousands position. I don't have a clue how many miles are on this truck. In the State of Pennsylvania, any vehicle older than ten years is exempt from odometer disclosure which is how this vehicle must be sold.
