The paint on the car is finished in its gorgeous original color of Crimson Red Firemist. I have been buying and selling classic cars and have owned many Cadillacs, and this is the first time I have ever seen this color. WOW. Looks custom right from factory! The car has had one repaint in its original color some years back and does have some chips and other blemishes that have been touched up but still shows very well as you can see by the pictures. The underside of the rockers, quarters, fenders, and floor boards are solid as a rock, and the wheel wells look so clean, just the way a low mileage car should. All correct trim and emblems are present and in great shape. The clean western chrome is all quite nice and has no pitting or haziness and only a few dings scuffs on the bumpers. All of the glass is original and the windshield is crack free! The interior is all beautifully redone and in like new condition. Door panels, RARE crack free dash, and beautifully redone carpets are in excellent condition and look like new. The white leather seats are correctly redone with the perforated inserts and are done in very high quality materials. The beautiful white convertible top was also done at the same time as the interior and even has the correct glass back window. The odometer currently shows only 33,000mi and functions correctly. I believe it to be correct judging by the excellent condition of the car and also the Arizona title which states ACTUAL miles at 33,000. Power windows and top were just fully gone through and serviced at a cost of over $800 to make sure all switches were working as well as window and top motors. Original radio and antenna function correctly and still work great or you can hook up your iPod to the cable in the glove box and turn up the music with a hidden volume knob under the dash. All gauges work correctly as well as the speedometer. The trunk interior is nicely redone wit a custom flare. Its beauty speaks for itself. A full size spare with custom cover is included. Even the rare vacuum trunk release works great! Mechanically, this Cadillac runs GREAT! This car features the 429ci V8 and the 3-Speed Automatic Transmission. This car always starts right up and shifts so smooth it is difficult to feel the transition between gears. As I said before this car has just been gone through and had fluids drained, tuned up, belts and hoses checked, valve cover seals, battery replaced, complete front end suspension rebuilt, rebuilt steering column and steering box, all four brakes and wheels bearings replaced, new exhaust, and several fluid leaks repaired. Under the hood is very clean and been detailed and repainted to factory original condition. The car tracks straight and rides and drives just like a new Cadillac should! All in all, this is one very cool Cadillac Deville. These 60's era Caddys are becoming more and more collectible as the older ones disappear into collections, especially well maintained, super low mileage, cars like this.
