A modern design classic, a tribute to German engineering and unbelievably fun to drive, this 1987 Mercedes 560 SL is my baby. I'm only selling it due to an upcoming overseas move; my dream car, it breaks my heart to let it go. This car is in excellent condition and has been extremely well-maintained (in addition to receipts for the work I've done on it, I have several years' worth of receipts from the last owner). With 156,950 miles on the odometer, the car is so mechanically sound and reliable that it is my only vehicle. It's consistently been driven an average of 125 miles per week over its life. The history report available from eBay shows one accident involving the left door in 1990; I see no evidence of this, so perhaps it was a door ding in a parking lot that has since been fixed. I own the car outright, so I am in possession of a clean title. There is a pinhole leak in the radiator which will need to be fixed (it's so small a problem I haven't been in a hurry to fix it), and a loose seam in the passenger seat which can easily be sewn up. Otherwise, this car is in excellent condition and has been extremely well cared for.
