Rare 1970 ford Mustang Fastback 351 Cleveland big block 3 speed Disc brake car. 100% Original right down to the breather tube. Original Paint True garage find. Car was stored for 35 Years in a dry garage. Real M code on the title. Original green paint. Never smashed or repainted. #'s matching motor trans and rear end. Interior is mint and original except for a rip in the passenger seat and a rip in the rear seat. Dash is beautiful. All plastic pieces are in beautiful original condition. All lights work radio works Car has never been apart. Motor turns over by hand, I have not tried to get it started. Trans is a 3 speed on the floor. Car must be in reverse to get the key to shut off and this feature is still hooked up. Trans shifts very well and the clutch feels very tight. Rear end is a 3.25/1 ratio(code 9) non posi ford 9" The most original mustle car I have seen in years. Gas tank needs to be cleaned out. Fuel filter was removed. Body: Car has rust. Front fenders are not rusty at the bottoms but have a few small spots on the top. front and rear windows are rust free. Trunk is very clean with a little rust around the edge of the gas tank. Doors are rusty quarters are rusty rockers are clean and rust free. Frame is clean, floors are rusty but mainly along the outside edge below the doors. Hood and trunk are clean except for the rear seam of the trunk lid. Beautiful restoration candidate. Still has the Protect-o-plate. and door tag. On Nov-05-11 at 17:46:13 PDT, seller added the following information: two people asked for addl pics of the rear quarters. Just to be sure, this car has all of it's original sheetmetal. it is still the original paint. It has never been in an accident. Both quarters are rusty and will need to be replaced but the seams and rockers look very good. The floors are rusty along the ouside 6" of the car but near the center looks very solid. Also I found an area on the bottom of the front subframe 2"x4" that is rusted thru. the rear trunk area actually looks good. On Nov-12-11 at 12:10:03 PST, seller added the following information: front fenders have no rust on the bottom of the front fenders and still have the original paint so no patches either. Drivers front is very nice, passenger has a few small pinholes on the top where the paint failed. Has a set of gr-78 14 Shell super shell radial tires that are probably 40 years old and still have good rubber.
