Up for sale is an 01 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT short bed quad cab truck. It is powered by a Cummins Turbo diesel engine and has an automatic transmission. The original owner brought the truck to my shop with a transmission problem. He explained that this was the first time that the transmission ever needed work. That was at 304,000 miles. He told me that most of the miles are highway and he never towed anything with the truck. After we rebuilt the transmission I told him if he ever wanted to sell the truck to call me. A few months went buy and he stopped by my shop and said he was getting ready to buy a new truck. I had already bought another truck but I bought it anyhow. I took it on a 1,000 mile trip towing another truck and it didn't miss a beat. The exterior of the truck has a few dents, dings and scratches but it still looks good. The interior looks good except for the drivers seat and console lid. It will need tires soon. It has power steering, power brakes tilt wheel, cruise control, power seat, AM/FM CD player and remote start. NADA low trade in value is $5625 and clean retail is $10475.
