Ok 29 watchers the last time so I know one of you is interested. This is the min ill take for this car, no bids this time ill just keep it. If your interested give me a bid. no reserve so if it gets bids it sells. perfect xmas gift for the wife or gf, lol .up for auction is a 1979 chevy malibu. I dont know a lot about this car but im going to do my best to describe it correctly. i took it in partial trade for a 68 camaro that i sold. this is a strong running car and im going to list it with a no reserve. i set the starting bid at a fair price i believe and if it goes above that this car will sell. the obvious facts. this car is red, very very red, lol. it was originally maroon and the door jams are still the original maroon as you can see in the pictures. first ill list the flaws that i can see in the car. first off like any car of this age, its a little cold blooded when its not started every day. there are some paint chips in the chrome trim on the front of the car and in the door panels. the windshield is cracked and the passenger door lock is a little dented like someone tried to pick the lock at one time or another. the door panels are missing the carpet on the bottom part of the panel on both sides. the back trunk and edge of the cowl look like someone put some body filler and didnt smooth it good enough before the paint so there are some very tiny bubble looking flaws, which i pictured, not noticable unless your very close. the headliner needs a dome light, the headers have been dented back to clear the upper a arms, not really a flaw but just want to make the buyer aware. the wipers have been taken apart and dont work. theres a small amount of rust on the tailpipe chrome tips. there are paint chips on the edges of the doors and in the black paint around the license plate. there a small chip on the right hand rear corner of the cowl, (pictured).. theres also some rust thru on the bottom of the passenger floor pan that it looks like someone has laid a patch over. (pictured) now the good things . the car has brand new tires all the way around, super deep tread as you can see in the pictures, 215/65r15. the car has centerline looking rims, i dont think they are real centerlines, the center caps say ultra on them. but still look very good. the car has a 4" cowl hood that looks like its been pop riveted to the car, looks ok. the car has good oil pressure as you can see on the guage, running with the car in park. the car has a flowmaster exhaust system with what looks like 2 and 1/4 inch pipes. tan interior in really good shape. there are a few oil drips from the car, like any other of this age. i included a picture so you can see.. theres a gallon bucket of paint next to the drips so you can see for yourself. this was after the car was in my garage for a couple of weeks. nothing really bad. i was told the motor is 355 overbored. you can tell the motor has been built but i know none of the specs regarding cam or build or heads or anything else since i didnt work on the car. i do know that from driving it that it has a very very strong fast motor. its a 3 speed automatic with a b and m quick shift kit. 10 bolt rear end, tilt column, hei super coil. edelbrock performer eps intake, theres a block off plate where the ac system used to be. edelbrock model 1407 750 cfm carb. theres very very little rust on the car, ive included a lot of pictures so you can see for yourself. like i said i took this car in trade specifically to resell and get some money out of it. im new to selling a car on ebay and have only sold one other car here which went ok. id like 500 dollars within 48 hrs at the end of auction and we can make arrangements for the remainder within a week preferably. im a flexible honest regular guy. so im sure ill be able work out a deal with someone. buyer to arrange shipping on the vehicle. im very busy with my work schedule so the most id like to do is take the car out of the garage and give someone the keys. paypal for the deposit required, and for the remainder we can discuss arrangements. like i said im flexible but id prefer the balance to be paid within a week and for shipping arrangements to be made within a week or so also. i think this would make a great weekend drag car for anyone, its pretty close now. runs strong, could prob use a tune up, idles rough at low rpm. i dont need or want this car, thats why im selling it. it is street legal and has a plate with a good tag on it right now. any any any questions please ask and ill do my best. no out of united states shipping, usa sale only. state of washington title,,, mileage is not true miles, and i dont know if this is original engine, if i had to guess id say probably not. check out my other auctions ans thanks for looking , any questions just ask.
