This is a 1985 Ford F150 factory V8 (302, 5.0) power windows all original minus dual exhaust. I received this truck in a trade. The previous owner explained that the transmission started to slip so he dropped the pan to change the filter and found metal shavings. It may need a transmission but it jumps when you put it in gear like it should but I have not tried to drive due to a recent injury. When I received the truck it did not run but after installing a new electric fuel pump it fired right up. The ignition has something broke because when you turn it to try to start it does not fully engage you have to push the rod on top of the column to engage the starter. My understanding on this is that it’s a small plastic piece inside the column that is cheap to buy but a pain to replace. I’ve had two of these trucks with this same problem so it must be a common thing. The truck only has one rust spot which I’ve showed in the picture. This is not a truck that you are going to be able to buy and drive home it will need to be tailored but it is a solid project the motor does not leak, smoke, or knock . It has power windows and locks that work. I have tried to describe the truck as best as I can but if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
