Up for auction is my 1969 Chevy Nova. I bought this car 4 months ago and have not had the time or money to do anything with it,so with winter coming and no garage it needs to go. The engine is a 1979 350 with an Edelbrock 4bbl intake and carb.The engine was rebuilt 2 years ago,but the previous owner did not allow break in time before tromping on it which caused the engine to spin a rod bearing.The car starts and runs,but IS NOT DRIVABLE.The hood is a fiberglass cowl hood that has no catch. The hood pins are what hold it down. I knew about this engine problem when I purchased the car.This was an original 6 cyl car with a 2 speed powerglide tranny. It now has a turbo 350 3 speed auto in it. The car has bucket seats.and a Hurst ratchet shifter. The driver side seat is in need of repair,but the passenger side is in good shape. The door panels need replaced,as does the faded carpet. The rear seat is in good shape. The headliner needs a seam repaired,but is in good shape otherwise.The doors both open and close great.The car comes with a BRAND NEW SET of 350 V8 coil springs for the front,and a brand new set of multi leaf springs for the rear. I was told by the previous owner that the car was redone about 10 years ago. The car needs both quarters replaced,and the trunk pan.Who ever did the quarters didnt do them right. When you open the trunk and look to the left or right you can see where the old quarters were cut. I have a clean Pennsylvainia title signed over to me with my signature on it,but I have not ran the title in my name for an Ohio title.The car has to be inspected at the Ohio D.M.V. but in order to do that I have to take it to have an out of state inspection done and I dont have any way to get it there. I WILL go with the winning bidder when they pick it up with their trailer to have the inspection done, pay for the inspection,and overnite the title to the winner. The wheels on the car are old school Cragar SS/T 14inch wheels that are in ok shape.The tires are junk and need replaced. Please keep in mind this car is 42 YEARS OLD, Its not a show car. I have seen basket cases sell on here for more than what I'm asking for this. Its a project car not a junker or salvage car. I WILL NOT SELL IT IN PIECES. Its ALL or nothing.
