Up for this Auction is a beautiful original rust free 1962 chevy impala convertible.It needs restoration but is a perfect start to a very nice original impala convertible which are bringing very high end money when completed.This car has been in a dry storage for 15 years and owned by the same man in this term.The car is a original v-8 car.The car has no motor or tranny but the car is very complete other then drive train.The car is mostly all original paint and interior and in very good shape due to its age.You will not find a nicer car to restore because you don't have to be looking for hard to find convertible parts there here and you don't have to spend a lot of money in the body shops repairing Rusty parts this car is truely very straight and very little minor surface rust in some areas.The wheels in the photos are only for the pictures and could be for sale if you are interested.When i bought this car it came with all the componnents for the factory A/C and will be in this sale. If the winning bidder is interested in a date coded 1962 327 v-8 engine and powerglide transmission complete with all the factory A/C components i have a friend that has one that has offered it to me.This engine is very complete right down to the Original exhausts manifolds and would make a great addition to this car. The motor is all together and is also in dry storage and was running when pulled aprox. 10 years ago. Remember that this is a project car that needs Restoration.I have owned a lot of impalas and I am telling you that you will not find a nicer body on a 1962 convertable around so bid with total confidence this one will not last long it is truely a nice car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
