This is a very nice clean, well put together Datsun 280Z. It has a 406 SBC with 4 bolt mains, GM fast burn aluminum heads, polished air gap manifold, 750 Holley, HPC coated shorty headers, steel rods, forged pistons, comp cam, MSD billet distibutor and 6 BTM ignition, It has a 2400 stall and Turbo 350 trans connected to a 4 link and narrowed Ford 9 inch rearend with a detroit locker, 3.70 gears and Moser 28 spline axles. The front suspension is stock with aftermarket springs and new bushings. The rear end has QA1 coil overs. The wheels are polished Greg Weld with 325/50 out back and 165/80 up front. This combination runs on pump gas and very well on the street. I have not taken it to the track nor do I intend to - I built it to drive around on the street - it is licensed, titled, and insured. The interior is in great condition. It has Autometer gauges, B&M hammer shifter, 6 point roll bar with low side bar for easy entry/exit, 12 gallon fuel cell, holley blue fuel pump, and Optima red top battery. All lights, turn signals, horn work properly. The rear is tubbed and has sheet metal panels with carpet, but I left the driver's compartment as clean and original as I could. All the glass and chrome trim is in very good condition. The exterior is painted Hot Rod Black and looks very slick. I am currently replacing the rear hatch with fresh seals. I have new door deals as well (although the current seals are ok, so I haven't gotten around to putting them on). This is not a show car, nor am I trying to sell it as one. You can get in this one, drive around, and get plenty of looks.
