Details: Previous winner never sent deposit so I'm forced to re-list. My loss is your opportunity...... 1953 Plymouth Cranbrook with only 68254 original miles! Runs exceptionally well. This car is one of the few models around that had factory overdrive. Body is in good shape with some little rust spots on the panels by the wheels. Little old lady who had it wasn't too good at backing into her garage and scraped the passenger side a little. No major dents or damage. I believe the car has a two-tone paint job but was covered for many years and the cover rubbed some of the paint off the roof down to the primer and a little off the trunk lid. (shown in the pictures). There is no rust on the roof. Chrome is in good shape. Glass is in excellent shape. Mirrors are in excellent shape. Headliner and interior is in good shape. I never took out the front carpet so I'm not sure what the floor looks like but it appears solid and not in need of refurbishment. Trunk has original trunk mat, spare tire and jack stand (stain in picture is just water I spilled washing the car, not blood, no dead bodies in the trunk). I put on new wheel slave cylinders, front and rear brakes and shock absorbers. The tires are brand new. New battery and hold down. The heater control leaked so I put in a new one. The carburetor leaks but I have a rebuild kit for it. I'll try to get this installed soon. The rear differential leaks a bit as does the rear main through the old seals. The car has a 3 speed manual transmission with overdrive. Shifts perfect, runs perfect. Original owners manual, a Plymouth shop manual and original license plate are included. If someone has a little time to spend, and wants an easy project, this car could look like new again with very minimal work compared to other vehicles of this era that are available. It's almost impossible to find classics in this condition, with low original mileage and in such good mechanical shape. I wish I had the time to refurbish the car myself but I've been forced out of retirement. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. You'll love this car.
