1966 SHELBY HERTZ REPLICA 289 - 4 speed This rust-free original Texas Fastback Mustang was very carefully crafted into a Shelby about 4 years ago at a cost of over 35K. It was originally a rust free 289ci A code 4-barrel, Mustang Fastback that was Gold with a Black vinyl interior. Please notice the Shelby correct parts that were used to make this recreation very realistic and include a Shelby fiberglass hood with hood latches, Shelby functional side scoops with brake ducts, Shelby Plexiglas side windows, inside trim, large rear brakes – just like Shelby, Front disc brakes, Top loader 4-speed transmission with a original ford shifter, Correct Shelby steering wheel, Shelby Tach on Dash,Shelby type mag wheels and the correct style traction bars. It is now powered by healthy rebuilt 289ci V-8 (solid lifters K code specs) with a Shelby Cobra Intake, Cobra Valve coves and Oil Pan It has a 4-barrel Holley carburetor and Flow master exhaust. The interior is new. All of the glass is original and in good condition for its age. The undercarriage is undercoated and painted black, the floor pans are excellent (Completely rust free all original-See pictures). This car runs and drives great and is ready to be enjoyed.
