Update 11/4/11 I have some tempting trade offers. If looking to bid or buy I would suggest throwing a bid as I am going to pull the car off. 9K is a gift. Last chance to buy as it will not be listed again. Update 10/30/11 I really need to sell so I can purchase a flatbed tow truck. I am going to throw in my complete 455 Buick Big Block. It came out of a 1970 Buick GS. It has all the OE parts including, A/C. At this time a rollback tow truck is more important. My son is upset that I am trying to sell the car but business is business. Start Bidding or I am going to pull it off and trade it on a new tow truck. Would rather sell and buy used but either way I am moving ahead this week. Thanks for looking and any questions just give me a call. (440)343-3538 I am starting the bidding off where it ended up. I am looking to sell my 1972 Buick. I had this car restored, and do to some other things I am going to try and sell it. She is beautiful and ready to hit your local car cruisin or car shows. I drive the car on every nice day that I can. I will go over all the details. Every car show that I have been to, people go crazy over the car. You park her next to a 30K chevelle and people still are checking mine out first. Even though it is a clone, in 1972 they only made 44 Buick GSX's. Odds of running into one are slim to none. Exterior: The body is laser straight. It was stripped to bare metal. There were no rust repairs done. The paint is a base, clear. I picked the viper yellow as I did not like the saturn yellow from 1972. The striping, and hood is all painted on to spec. The black on the hood is flat as it was in 1972. Interior: Interior is all origional except the front seats. It had a power bench seat and the previous owner put in these buckets. The dash is flawless with no cracks or fading. The rear seat looks like it was never sat it. All the door panels are in good shape. Included in the auction I have new carpet, factory center console with shifter. If the car does not meet my reserve next year all the interior will be black with the right front bucket seats. Wheels & tires: It has four brand new 245/60/15 BF Goodrich Traction T/A tires. It also has the factory 15x7 wheels with factory center caps. They are in good shape for their age. Undercarriage & frame. It is all origional with no paint, undercoating. There is no holes or even a soft spot. This car must have been kept indoors as it is more solid then most cars I have ever seen. If I have the car next years, I am going to wire wheel the underneath and powdercoat it. All the lines and gas tank are origional with no rust. Front end is tight and ready to drive. Drivetrain: It currently has a sbc 350 with headers. It has a 3 speed automatic with a 10 bolt possi differential. Car is very fast and sounds excellent. If the auction meets 15K I will include a complete Buick 455 with a/c and all ready to go. The current engine came out of one of my race cars. It is a mild built motor and could be sold for a few grand or just leave it in the car. The engine compartment is near prestine. It just needs to be detailed, and cleaned. I have the factory A/C airbox with evap in it. For some reason it was removed. The front grille was very hard to find. I paid $800 and was lucky to even get one. The hood tach is installed, but I did not hook it up to the distributor. The sport mirrors were another great find. OEM mirrors purchased right on ebay. Overall: Car is awesome. I would redo all the interior in black, put in the 455 Big block. You then have one of the nicest muscle cars on the road. You can leave it as is and most people with appreciate it as is. I am pretty anal so it will go to the next level this winter. Everyone has a chevelle, or a cutlass. There are a ton of gran sports, and mustangs. This car looks and sounds like a million bucks. My reserve is not to high. If the auction goes over 15K I will include the big block. Anything below that and we can work something out. Any questions feel free to call me (440)343-3538. There is a $500 deposit due at the end of auction via paypal. It is non-refunable. Please make sure you have all your ducts in a row before bidding. I am only selling because I want to get A Rollback Tow truck for my business.. This car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early regardless of the bidding status. If you happen to have front bucket seats for a 1970-1972 A body car please let me know. If the car does not sell I am going to button it up this winter
