Most of the vehicles I sell are fresh trades from larger local dealerships and have not been serviced or reconditioned. Each vehicle is thoroughly road tested before being listed on eBay. This description is an account of how the vehicle performed during its road test. I encourage every potential bidder to see and drive a vehicle in person before bidding. Vehicles are shown by appointment only at my York, PA storage facility. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very nice 1990 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz. The Biarritz option package has come and gone since the 50's and was more upscale of the base model. Among other features, the Biarritz models came with the desirable tufted full leather interior. Only 7,000+- Bairritz models were made for 1990 at a price tag that topped $32,000 back then. 1990 was also the first year for a drivers airbag. I would rate the exterior condition of this Cadillac to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition. Aside from some typical GM chipping paint of the drivers fender, there are really no noteworthy flaws to the exterior of this vehicle. The paint has a great shine and looks great from any angle. The chrome is in good condition, too. All of the glass and lenses appear to be in tact. The tires show good tread all around and appear to be in great condition. This Eldorado was traded in at Sutliff Cadillac/Hummer in Harrisburg, PA. Pride in ownership shows everywhere in this Cadillac. I would rate the condition of the interior of this Cadillac to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition for the age of the vehicle. Both door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout and come with a full set of floor mats. The optional tufted leather seats show very well and are comfortable. The power seats appear to be working properly, as are the power windows, locks and mirrors. The headliner is coming loose (as most of these do) but has been pinned up in a pattern to match the tufted seats and doesn't actually look bad. The stereo is the factory original Concert Sound which still sounds great. Additionally, a CD changer has been installed in the trunk with a controller mounted up front for easy operation. The climate control system is fully automatic and fully operational. The air conditioner does not blow cold. I had it charged and it worked fine but the refrigerant leaked out. When I had it charged, my mechanic put dye in it so finding the cause should be a breeze for your mechanic if/when you choose to have it addressed. The trunk is spacious and clean. Mechanically, this Eldorado appears to be in good condition. It starts up easily and runs smoothly. I've not seen any leaks or smoke from this car. The suspension and steering are both tight and responsive. The brakes felt good, too. The V8 engine makes great power...making accelleration and highway cruising effortless. Although the Eldorado shares platforms with the Buick Riviera and Olds Toronado, the Cadillac is the only one to offer a V8 engine. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, this Eldorado cruises nice and smooth.
