This time capsule was purchased new in 1971 with the intentions of using the truck for camping (when the original owner retired.). He passed away and his wife never wanted to sell his truck. She parked it in the garage and drove it every so often until she too passed away. It was then purchased at her estate. He bought the truck in 1971 and the Camper the following year in 1972. It has never been camped in, slept in or smoked in. No one ever ate in it and the fridge has never been used..(see the original 40 year old Scotch tape on the racks in the fridge and the still pristine and un-opened ice cube trays!). The fridge works perfect in either AC or DC mode as well as all the interior and exterior lights, windows all crank in and out like new as well as the roof vent. There are no leaks whatsoever in camper or truck. It was tested during an all day downpour when I was forced to leave it outside while working on another car...the result at the end of the day...BONE DRY. Otherwise this truck is kept in a climate controlled garage and never been out in any inclement weather. The camper is like new inside and out. And the bed under the camper is also in pristine condition. The truck features the original 318 V8 with the original 727 Automatic transmission The truck runs and shifts perfect! It is a radio delete truck with the rubber foor mat, crank windows and bench seat. The original seat is perfect and brand new..The seat you are looking at is a cover put on when the truck was purchased new. It was done so well and hog ringed on so I never took it off. The new owner can do so if they wish. All of the mechanicals are new and this truck is ready to drive now!
