For sale is a 1981 VW Rabbit. It's a 1.7L gas 4 speed manual. The body is in great shape, few spots of rust here and there, nothing that has gone through. The condition is non-running at the moment. It has a fuel issue which I believe to be a bad fuel pump but can not vouch 100% on that, an aftermarket fuel pump can be purchased here on ebay for $50. It ran excellent before it started acting up wanting to stall out unless i kept feeding it gas by continuously pressing the gas pedal. I ran through the fuel component system checking things including checking the inner fuel tank which was recently replaced and is in great condition as well as put on a new fuel accumulator. The odometer reads 76,000 miles and I was told that it stop moving an estimated 10,000-15,000 miles ago. Its a pretty clean vehicle, what you see is what you get, the pictures were just taken. All the little things were working on the vehicle such as the lights, windows, rear hatch strut etc. I recently replaced the inner tracks for the windows so they work like new. All in all this could be a great vehicle for someone who can give it a little care. I am just about to move and do not have time for it.
