This is NOW being relisted for the 2nd time. The first buyer told he was arranging pick up (he is in OK, I am in Chicago) and when I told him I needed a $200 deposit via Paypal and then the remainder upon pickup by either cash or cashiers check from a bank, he never contacted me again. Not sure if it was a scam or not. The second person who used BUY IT NOW was from IL but never read any of the description then decided after buying that he didnt want it. Seriously, who buys something without reading it right. Oh well. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read before bidding or using BUY IT NOW. I have filed a NON PAYING BIDDER and have received my FINAL VALUE CREDIT because these two other buyers did not fulfill their obligations. The only way to get my listing fees back is to do this. I will NOT cancel the transaction because yoiu decide you don't want it or failed to read the description. I will just file a NPB. Sorry. If you live far from the west suburbs of Illinois please really think before bidding. I will file a NPB if you bid and don't follow thru on the purchase. I just want to get rid of this car from the front of my car and unfortunately the last buyer really let me down. I will not LOWER the price of the vehicle when you come to pick it up. The purchase/winning price on eBay is what the cost of the car is. This is a 95 Corolla that we bought used I want to say in December of 2009, maybe November from a local corner car dealer in Stickney, IL. When we went to take the last payment to him ($100) the place was closed for business and had like a "foreclosure" type sticker on the door. We tried calling the guy but he never called us back. We also never received the license plates for the vehicle even though the dealer did send in the paperwork. We also DO NOT have a title for this vehicle. We went to the DMV police in Lombard, IL and the vehicle is in my husbands name. The reason why we haven't received the title is because it still shows that there is a balance owed the dealer. HMMMMM........... We also didnt have a bill of sale from the dealer. Major DOH! Dumb. I know. So...Bottom line, car is in my husbands name, we just don't have plates or a title. Okay, more details. The car is clean even though I have stored a baby car seat and stroller inside right now.The car has not been driven or started for over a year. The battery is dead. I am not sure what the condition of the tires are after sitting for a year. The hood of the car does need to be painted at some point, but that would be up to the buyer. Dent on the hood and little scratches here and there.
