Here is a once in a lifetime opportunity for you to purchase the car you have always wanted. A Laser straight 67 Chevelle 1-owner car born and raised in the South. I am reluctant to sell because I know that I will never see another like this. I recently acquired this car from the son of the original owner. The car has never been titled (that's right). It is still on the original Certificate of Origin from Chevrolet. This car came from Hood Motor Co in Amite, Louisiana. The MSO was tranferred to E R Nettles but never titled. That is the wat you will be getting the title so if need be check with your bank before bidiing to make sure that this is ok. Now, on to the car. This is an older body-off frame restoration in 1990. The car was used for a show car only until 1998 then retired to climate controlled garage when original owner passed. It has been stored here under a cover since until a few weeks ago when I bought it. I immediately removed, cleaned, resealed, and re-installed the carbeaurator, engine, and transmission. I documented this with pictures and receipts that will go with the sale. The most impressive thing is how clean the engine is. Here is what I have: The original license plate dated 10/1967 (on car now) Certificate of Origin Original Bill of Sale(traded 59 Biscayne) Original cleared check 1967 color dealer accessory brochure 67 srevice manual Other various doucumentation verifying it as a one-owner I apologize but the POP, build sheet, and window sticker has been misplaced through the years. This is what I come up with on the numbers: Engine-TI2I6GL Tonawanda/1966/220hp Rear end-CA 06 12B 10 bolt Casting 3917123 NF 3:08:01 Tranmission 6177 7E18 The odometer reading is 23,495. I am guessing that this is 123,495 on the car. There are fewer than 500 miles onthe total restoration including engine. The Data Plate Reads: 07C ST 67-13617 ATL 34794 BODY TR 723-A F-F PAINT W 28 - 203624 A few things that I know the car needs: Small hole in headliner A few stains in carpet AM radio not working Marble size ding in RR quarter panel A few tiny paint imperfections in clearcoat rear bumper could use re-chroming to be perfect reverse lights not working This is what I feel gives THIS car its' character: There is nothing better looking than a Marina Blue car with Blue interior 3-speed coloumn shift The original fenders are still on car. Factory stampings still evident. Badged as 283/195 hp turbo-fire True dual exhaust Cragar Keystone Klassics with WL tires 15" Big Block Springs on front Engine Build- Sounds Awesome- LT1 Solid Lift Cam and lifters ( original go with sale). I am guessing 230-250 hp/ sounds like 400 hp ha!
