Most of the vehicles I sell are trades from larger dealerships and have not been serviced or reconditioned. Each vehicle is thoroughly road tested to provide the most accurate description of how the car looks, runs and drives. I encourage every potential bidder to come see and drive a vehicle in person before placing a bid. Vehicles are shown by appointment only at my York, PA storage facility. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Please take the time to read this entire description, including reviewing all photos as well as my terms & conditions, before bidding. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a gorgeous 1998 Ford Mustang GT finished in rare Sonic Blue over black leather. I would rate the exterior condition of this Mustang as ABOVE AVERAGE. There is some minor paint chipping at the license plate insert and a two inch scratch on the front bumper near the right headlight. Overall, this car is a real head turner. The bright blue finish has a deep shine and looks good from any angle. Please review the photos carefully to fully appreciate how good this Mustang looks. The tires are good all around and show even tread front and back. One center cap is missing from one of the wheels. All of the glass and lenses appear to be in tact, too. Anyone would be proud to own and drive this Mustang. I would rate the interior of this Mustang to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition also. The door panels are both clean and tight. The black leather seats are still soft and look to have been regularly conditioned. The carpets show well. The headliner is clean. The trunk is clean, too. The climate control system is working properly and the air conditioning blows cold, too. The stereo is the original Mach 460 sound with cassette and CD player. This car comes with the original remote for the factory keyless entry system which works perfectly. The only odd thing I can point out is that the tach sometimes doesn't work. Everything else in the cluster works properly. I don't know much about that so I wouldn't know where to look for a loose connection or whatever could be causing it. Mechanically, this Mustang appears to be in good running condition. The 4.6L V8 engine starts right up and runs smoothly. Other than a sqeaky belt, I have nothing to complain about with the engine. It keeps proper oil pressure and normal temperature at all times. I didn't see any leaks or smoking. It drives smooth and makes excellent power. This car does have an exhaust system on it. I don't know which brand but it is very smooth and deep like a Bassani but the tips aren't Bassani. It sounds great and turns lots of heads. The left tail pipe is missing but the muffler is still in tact. The front suspension feels like the bushings are showing some age. It feels a little loose over bad road surfaces and makes a slight vibration at highway speeds. The steering and brakes feel good. Accelleration is (of course) quick and effortless. I don't know for certain but this Mustang feels like it probably has gears, too. I would guess 3.73 or 3.55. The clutch feels good and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes are smooth through the Borg-Warner T-5. I believe this Mustang also has a shifter, too. Again, I haven't had anything apart to confirm the presence of any aftermarket upgrades but I am pretty proficient with Mustangs. This looks like a good clean Stang with some basic mods that was probably used as a daily driver...not some hacked up hot rod where you have to sort out the last guys mistakes if you ever need to fix anything.
