1928 FORD MODEL A PICK UP RESTORE OR RAT ROD, GREAT PROJECT, LOW RESERVE. This is a great project that can go either way, restoration or rat rod. The original drive train is operational, engine has been started and runs fine. We set it up for 12 volt. A custom exhaust pipe and muffler from a late model Chevy pick up have been installed for better flow and a bad sound !! Radiator is fine, grille shell is original Model A with original blue logo. Brakes work, have all the rods and anti vibrators. Wheels and tires are good, fronts better than back. Back tires are riding on '56 Buick rims that were cut and welded to make wider rims (done in the '60's). Chrome trim rings all around with baby moons up front. Gas tank has been cut out and firewall removed. Some idiot cut the top, (only God knows why ?). It will take a piece of flat sheet metal and some decent welding to fix. There is rust thru in the door borroms and on the body corners but not serious. Those corners are available as are the door bottoms.The pick up bed is fiberglass. It has an extention glassed in. The glass work and bracing need to be finished off. It's actually a pretty cool bed. The weights in the back are to hold it down for photographing purposes as it is not secured to the frame. The truck runs, moves and stops under it's own power. Comes with bill of sale. It's right at the stage where the next owner with make the decision to restore or rod. It's good material for either.
