I am selling my 72 H/O convertible pace car that aquired a few years ago. I purchased it from the original owner's widow. It is a pretty rare car with only 126 ever built, and it is documented as track car #6 out of 45 that were used at the Indy 500 race that year. The car was purchased one week after the race at Dellen Oldsmobile in Indianapolis. I have the original dealer's sales contract along with the loan agreement. It is a very solid car with one re-paint in 1994 which I have the paperwork for and shows what was done to it. Interior seems to be all original and is in really nice shape. The top looks brand new. The car has one rust spot on the passenger door and the rest of the car is very nice. There is no rust in the floors, trunk or frame. The car runs and drives great. It has it's numbers matching motor, along with carb and distributor. I consider this car a nice driver. As you can see by the pictures, when the car was re-painted they never applied the Hurst decals on the car. These can still be bought. My plan was to do a frame-off restoration on this rare car but I really don't have the time or the money right now to do it. I will include a few extra parts for the car, a set of NOS GM quarter panels and an extra nearly mint factory ram air hood. For this to be an authentic H/O there must be a W45 code on the cowl tag and this car has it plus the original dealer paperwork. If you have any questions, please ask. Good luck on the auction...
