The vehicles I sell are fresh trades from larger local dealerships, are sold "as-is/as-traded and have not been serviced or reconditioned. Each vehicle is road tested before being listed on ebay. This description is an account of how each vehicle performed during its road test. It is recommended that all bidders come see and drive a vehicle in person before placing a bid. All vehicles are shown by appointment only at my York, PA storage facility. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a nice little 1998 Suzuki Sidekick convertible. The Suzuki Sidekick is a great little SUV and is much more rugged than it looks. This example appears to be in good condition. As you can see, this is a great looking little truck. The paint has a great shine and shows only a few surface flaws. The tires are nearly new all around and have lots of tread. All of the glass and lenses appear to be in tact. The top looks to be in fair condition. There are no holes or rips but the velcro and zippers are showing some age. I've both washed this truck and had it outside in a few storms and the top did not leak. These little trucks are an absolute blast to drive...it reminds me of a golf cart actually. It turns on a dime and is very easy to drive. I would rate the interior of this Sidekick to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition. The interior is pretty basic but shows well. The door panels are clean and show well. The floors are clean, too. The seats show well throughout. The original owners manual is included. The stereo has been upgraded to a CD system and sounds good. The factory climate controls are in working order. Folding the top down is pretty simple once you get the hang of it. Driving this truck is fun enough but put the top down and the fun multiplies. Mechanically, this truck appears to be in good running condition. The gas sipping 1.6L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. There are no known leaks. During my road test, this Suzuki got excellent marks. The suspension is nice and tight. Steering feels great and is very responsive. The brakes stop the truck very well. During my road test, the engine kept a cool temperature at all times. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts like it should. The hubs are manually operated so you won't have to worry about automatic hubs going bad. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. This little truck is simply a blast to drive. It is equally at home plowing through snow as it is cruising to the beach with the top down.
