The vehicles I sell are fresh trades from larger local dealerships and are sold "as-is/as-traded"...no vehicle is reconditioned or serviced by me. Each vehicle is road tested prior to being listed on ebay. It is recommended that you come see and drive a vehicle prior to bidding on it. All vehicles are shown by appointment only at my York, PA warehouse. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Please take the time to read this entire description, as well as review all photos and my terms & conditions, before bidding. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1986 Pontiac Fiero SE coupe. As you can see, this is a pretty good looking vehicle in spite of its age. The paint on the rear spoiler and nose have faded a bit but don't look too bad. The rest of the paint looks great. There are no dents, scratches or rust that I could see on the body of this Pontiac. There is a crack in the left sail glass but it's not really noticable. Otherwise, all of the glass and lenses appear to be in tact. The alloy wheels are in good shape and the tires have good tread all around. Overall this is a good looking little Fiero. I would rate the interior of this Fiero to be in AVERAGE condition. The only thing keeping it from a better rating is the drivers seat. While being clean, the driver seat is torn in more than one place. The passenger side seat looks new. The carpets are clean and the door panels are in tact and tight. The radio still works. The factory climate control system is working properly. The air conditioning still blows ICE COLD. The trunk place is clean, too. Mechanically, there are a few things you should consider before bidding on this car. The 2.8L V6 starts easily but smokes heavily on a cold start. Once warm, it stops smoking and will sit and idle with no problem. It drives fine. The suspension and steering are tight. The brakes work fine. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts normally. I've driven it around town a few times with no problem. When you take it out on the highway or run it hard, it gets hot and starts smoking again. The smoke smells like oil. I don't know what to make of it but I would not recommend driving it any distance beyond local...very local. The exhaust has a leak at the manifold, too (left I believe). I really don't know what to make of the smoke. It runs strong and doesn't miss...even when it gets hot. I was going to keep it for a V8 project but I already have a Grand National that I've only driven twice this year plus a Mustang sitting in my garage w/ no engine...so my plate is pretty full.
