Ok here we go. Up for bid is a 1974 Dodge Charger SE. It belongs to my son. He bought it with hopes to restore it as a daily driver. He quickly realized he has neither the time, skills, or funds to get it done in his time frame. He wants it done now and has lost interest. The charger has a 318 with a 4bbl. It seems to run realy good. He has drove it around town quite a bit and he loves it. It has flowmaster mufflers on the dual exhaust and sounds realy good. It needs a choke. Starts fine i just noticed that it didnt have the choke on it. Mileage is unknown. The previous owner said it wasnt the original engine. The charger has a buldge hood bought by the previous owner ($600). I have the original hood that will go with the car, which has been painted black, and not very well I might add. The paint on the car is flaking and there is some surface rust in a few areas. Definately needs new paint. There are no dents, but there are a few spots of rust. It has decent tires except for 1. There is a pic of a good tire that is representative of the 3 good ones. bad one is about half wore down or more. Tail lights work, headlights work, brake lights not so much. Turn signals work now and again. Should be easy fixes I would think. Charger has new carpet, new front and rear seat covers, new headliner (still needs sail panels, $50). It has a new heater core, dash cap (not pad, but cap see pics). New dome light lens. Its a very cool car. Gets a lot of looks even with the bad paint. He gets a lot of waves from people driving other muscle cars, like hes in the club now. Its a good solid car that needs a little more to make it a great car. Interior is mostly done. Not professionaly, but it looks realy nice. I posted pics of everything, but if you would like more just ask and I can email them to you. I will also deliver up to 200 miles or so if you cover the gas and trailer rental. Trailer is around $75 i think. I can get exact price if needed. Car runs good but its not legal and we havent taken it any farther than town. Just easier to trailer it, than take the risk. I also have a clear title in hand. I reserve the right to end the auction early as I have it for sale localy On Oct-18-11 at 19:43:31 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention, the floor pans have been replaced with a one piece replacement, the trunk pan has also been replaced. I also checked on the trailer rental. It would be $55 for the trailer if I were to deliver it. Also thought I should mention that the heater core had been disconnected. The heater hoses had been looped to bypass the heater core. That is why I replaced the heater core. Figured they had looped it for a reason. Also there is a heater valve that attaches inline to those hoses that was not on the car, so I have bought the valve and it will go with the charger. Easy to install. Just hook the hearter core hoses up to it and attach the heater control cable. Also all the chrome trim is there. Cant think of anything else...
