Vehicle Detail

You are looking at a 1970 CB350 K2 in candy gold. This bike is being re-listed. The bike is a very nice daily rider (as is) or you could spend a little time to make it a show bike or cafe racer. This 40 year old bike is in great shape for its age. Please read the description. COSMETIC: The original paint shines nicely. The tank has no dents or dings whatsoever. and only an almost imperceptible nick about the size of a breadcrumb (near the triple tree, and visible in the odometer photo) is the only imperfection in the otherwise flawless tank. The headlight has slight fading, and the side covers show evidence of over polishing (!). It is obvious this bike was well cared for. The rims are nice and shiny with little to no pitting. The spokes are free of rust but may show very minor pitting, if any. The tires are both practically brand new, still have the little nibs on them. The pipes are aftermarket (the only part that isn't original). They shine nicely and look almost exactly like the originals. The seat is free of tears or blemishes, and is in fantastic shape. The tank and side covers all bear the original Honda badges and emblems. Even the black frame paint looks nice. About the only thing keeping the bike from being perfect is a small ding on the lower right fork, visible in the pics, and relatively minor. MECHANICAL: The rear brake, clutch, and throttle cable have all been replaced recently. Anyone familiar with this model (and maybe a few other Honda's from this era) may have encountered this unique front brake cable. The front brake has an electrical component in the actual cable to trigger the brake light, but most aftermarket parts do not. This is my second CB 350 of this same year and model (even color!) and on the last one I put on an after market cable, but decided it was annoying to press both brakes in order to trigger my brake light for other motorists. This time around I left the original on (which is still fully functional of course). I planned on locating one at a good price, and they are available here on eBay. So the front brake cable is original, all others have just been replaced. I have noticed oil seepage near the spark plugs around the middle cooling fin but nothing major. My thought is that it is a seal of some sort. It does not smoke unless you give it an insane amount of throttle (like a really hard rev), then you see a little puff. In actual normal driving this does not happen. It was going to be my winter fix to put new seals on everything. As is, the bike runs well, electric or kick start, she starts right up and is ready to go. Shifts flawlessly through all gears, with full power. All electronics and lights fully functioning. Fairly New battery, fuses, and spark plugs. EXTRAS: There is an extra 1970 CB 350 gas tank, painted red & white. The extra tank is flawless and clean. Was gonna have it painted gold, and use it as a back up. There is an extra set of 1970 CB 350 fork covers (top and bottom for both sides). They are teal in color. The bike also comes with an extra seat cover, which is brand new. There is a sissy bar/back rest included. It is in near perfect shape, no rips or blemishes and the chrome is nice. There is a chrome luggage rack in good condition. You also get a pair of new, unopened K&L carb rebuild kits, as well as a pair of pod air filters. 2 Extra Spark plugs and Fuses If wanted I will throw in an extra set of handlebars, same width, lower profile..kinda like a euro bar. The bike even comes with the original tool kit and owners manual! This bike has a clear TN title. It is truly a beautiful piece of motorcycle history. It is well on its way to being pristine and comes with many extras, to help complete the task These classic Honda's are extremely well made and highly collectable. Don't miss your chance to own one at a great price. Serious Bidders only. Bidders with no feedback will be not be accepted. Tire kickers are not welcome, been there done that. For sale only in the Continental United States. Sold As-is, no implied warranty. Shipping will be the buyers affair. I have sold bikes in the past and some buyers chose USHIP. There are many other options out there. I hate to see this bike go, and I hope whoever is lucky enough to own this CB 350 appreciates it for years to come. These bikes are getting harder and harder to find, and as demand increases, some sellers have inflated prices! I have described the bike accurately and all pictures are recent. I will start the bidding at $100! You decide what its worth This is a 40 year old bike and is well preserved for its age. This bike is not perfect, but it would certainly be hard to find many in this shape. Motorcycle is located in Knoxville, TN. Any questions, just ask, I have tried to be thorough. Thanks and Good Luck! On Oct-24-11 at 12:49:28 PDT, seller added the following information: A few things: 1. No zero feedback bidders, I am sorry. 2. Shipping the extras may incur additional shipping charges if necessary. If possible the extras will just go along with the bike upon shipment. With the typical "palette shipping" method it shouldn't be an issue (there should be enough space to include the box of extras). If another shipping method is chosen, I can not guarantee they will allow the inclusion of the box of extras. In this case I will ship the extras separately. The shipping charge will be the exact cost of your preferred shipping method, no more, no less. I think this is fair. 3. I figure this goes without saying, but just in case....The mileage may increase (very) slightly, as we have had a few days of great riding weather lately! Anyway, just thought I would cover this, to be 100% clear on everything. Thanks and Good Luck!
