This sweet well maintained fully equipped '97 pop-top camper van is originally from the Southwest. I brought it to Vermont in March 2009. Its been stored in the winter. Three owners - all female. Simply put, this is an all around SOLID vehicle that is driven almost daily during the warm months. This is a reliable, roomy, and multifunctional car for families and folks with an adventurous spirit. SOLID strong 2.8L 140HP V6 engine with auto trans. Equipped with all standard Winnebago conversion items: Refrigerator (runs on LP, AC, or DC), two burner propane stove, sink with 5 gal water tank, shower head, storage, and many extras make this the van for going anywhere, doing anything. Sleeps 4, space for up to 6 passengers. At 20mpg and a V6 engine that easily takes mountains without a strain, this is a great driving AND vacation vehicle. Extremely detailed details: Exterior: Very Good Condition. Original white factory paint. Tiny paint flecking on the hood - can be touched up. One quarter-size surface rust spot on passenger side doorway. Small abrasion on back bumper. All lights, lighting cases, wind shield - fully intact - no cracks or dings. Needs new roof air vent window. Estimate: $70 for the part from GoWesty. Interior: Very Good Condition No rips, no stains in seating or floors. Mattresses in great condition. Fridge & stove & sink worked fine as of spring. Drained water lines & didn't refill propane for fuel efficiency. The blinds on the sliding door are fair. They go up & down - but I need to tie them to stay up. The side sliding window blinds are good. The back window curtain sliding track is cracked. Curtain & track could be replaced. Camper Canvas is solid - no leaks, no tears, no mold. Camper window screening has a couple small holes repaired with screen adhesive. The camper lift hydraulics could be replaced. It opens & stays up - but when on incline, it can sink slowly. Mechanics: Very Good Condition Have service records from previous owner & my own records. Oil changed every 3k with Synthetic Mobil 1. Brakes are good. Engine is STRONG. NEW transmission in 2007 ($6k). New transmission control module ($ 1k). Newer battery. This past summer spent over $1k for new Michelin C rated appropriately sized tires & hub caps & rims- and suspension items: ball joints, bearings, cv joints. Needs new marine battery to use battery operating option for fridge, sink etc. Battery will hold a charge after van has been plugged in. Electric plug-in option & propane (for fridge & heat) work well. Comes with hoses, extension chord, service records, original owners manuals, and Official Factory Repair Manual - both volumes.
