Vehicle Detail
Here is your chance to own an authentic Pontiac American muscle car, my 2000 Trans Am SevanSeries Convertible. I am the third owner and have had this car for three years. I purchased it in 2008 and have put less than 3000 miles on it. My friend the second owner put only 2000 miles on it in several years. We both have owned several Pontiac Trans Ams and GTOs over the years. Runs, drives, and bullies the boulevard perfectly like a Trans Am should! This car has always been garaged, covered, and never raced or abused as we believed it was a special example of the Pontiac heritage . It is a south Texas car with no rust that has been meticulously maintained and cared for. Just replaced the plugs, wires, and all fluids including the rear differential fluid. I have new rubber on the back because I had a flat and do not repair tires on my performance cars. The leather interior is rip free and the Sevan Series graphics in are undamaged. The engine bay is detailed as is the under body and interior. The interior is clean and shows wear typical for the mileage with all controls and lighting working perfectly, there are no cracked door panels on this car which is common for this generation Trans Am. It does have the desirable convertible boot and the convertible top works flawlessly. The paint looks good with typical wear for the mileage and year. This car is not perfect, however you will find it is a great example of the last of the Pontiac Muscle Cars. There are three minor issues on the exterior I will fully disclose. There is a stain on the convertible top on the Drivers side and back which I never tried to remove as I did not want to damage the canvas. It seems to be adhesive or some sort. There is a small area of clear coat is peeling around a fog light- lower bumper which I never repaired and a small nick on the spoiler. These are all minor and do not detract from this "Black Beauty" The body panels are flawlessly straight and the exterior looks as good as in the photographs. I will allow the photos speak for themselves! I have had a presence on eBay selling old school GTO and Firebird parts for a long time and invite you to look at my feedback. If you have any questions ask I will answer them. Of course I reserve the right to end this auction at any time for any reason including local offers. There are no warranties offered or implied but you are welcome to inspect this car with appropriate notice and appointment. This WS6 is ready to drive anywhere! I am only auctioning the Trans Am as I have too much to maintain. Your 500.00 deposit is expected at auction end and payment within 7 days. Go ahead and bid they made less than 10000 convertibles in 2000, and good luck. Lastly, I am not overpricing this car and I consider my reserve to be fair. What is a "Sevan Series?" The SevanSeries Trans Ams were dealer customs sold by Evans Pontiac in Dallas Texas. There were only 30 or 40 assembled and this was the only convertible I know of that was sold with this package. The name is a tribute to Steve Evans the owner of Evans Pontiac. These cars dyno at 360 horsepower which is more than the stock Corvette C5. These cars were built by L.G. Motorsports in Dallas for Evans Pontiac. Although the mods were mild and could be done by any shop or person they were professionally installed and are definitely a part of Pontiac history. If you are a Pontiac person this is your car! Borla Exhaust System Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs K&N High Performance Air Filter Hurst Skip Shift Eliminator Toyo Tires Raptor Style Hood Hurst Short Shifter Enkei Wheels The V8-powered Pontiac Firebird will always be remembered for leaving the stench of burning rubber at every traffic light. The Firebird Trans Am has the one of the highest horsepower-per-dollar ratio ever - a ratio beaten only by the new supercharged Mustang Cobra. And in WS6 trim, it could pretty much go head-to-head with 75-grand Porsche 911s at the dragstrip. No wonder the Firebird became a cult classic by the time it was discontinued at the end of 2002
