this car was driven into a garage in 1978 when the plate expired (1978 plates still on the car), and was not moved since. it is complete less one hub cap which the p.o. is trying to locate. the interior is complete and in very good shape with some mold smell which is going away as the car sits in the sunlight. all accessories work, including the a.m. only radio with the scan feature. the body is in good shape and all chrome trim is intact. there is rust on the rear quarterpanels, but the rest of the body is pretty straight. the vinal top is in very good condition with no rips or bubbles. engine is a 440/727, and is currently locked up, but i have poured marvel mystery oil in the plug holes and down the carb. this has loosened up more than one engine for me in the past. if the engine breaks free before the sale, i will try to have it running. the spark plugs that came out of the engine were in good shape, as is the crankcase oil. the a/c compressor turns free, and i see no issues under the hood with missing parts. the car is as it was in '78 with the exception of the locked engine. i have the title in hand, which is dated january 1972. there will be a low reserve for a car that will bring close to $500.00 scrap. just bought a new house, so toys and projects have to go.
