ENGINE, TRANSMISSION, DRIVE SHAFT, LSD REAR END, 5 LUGS, ROTORS AND BRAKES, AND MINT INTERIOR(NO A PILLAR PLASTIC DUE TO AUTO SEATBELTS), ALL CAME OUT OF A TOTALED 91 TII. THIS CAR WAS BUILT FOR 425+ WHP... WOULD MAKE AN EXELLENT DRIFT OR AUTO X CAR. THE CAR NEEDS TO BE TUNED. I HAD A HARD DRIVE GO OUT ON ME AND TAKE THREE MAPS WITH IT, AND THEN WHEN I HOOKED THE HALTECH UP TO MY NEW LAPTOP, I ACCIDENTLY UPLOADED A DEFAULT E6X MAP GOODBYE TUNE BEEN SITTING FOR A FEW MONTHS SINCE. IT STARTS BUT TAKES A WHILE AND RUNS REAL ROUGH. NEEDS A PROFESSIONAL TUNER TO TUNE ITS ECU, WILL COST $500 TO $1000 FROM A PRO. I HAVE TO MANY PROJECTS AND NEED TO LET IT GO; THIS IS A LEGIT RACE CAR, YOU CANT BUILD THIS CAR FOR UNDER 10 GRAND, I WAS GONNA PART IT OUT BUT DONT HAVE THE TIME AND FIGURED IT WOULD MAKE SOMEONE VERY HAPPY. Interested in car but curious on condition of engine and any possible gremlins in wiring and such. Does the car turn on? Thanks Frankie Sep-29-11 A: The compression's are 116 or 117 in two and 120 in the other 2, and the car has nice and neat wiring done up right with a power kill switch by the radiator. When you pull up the haltech ecu program all the sensors send info as well. All it needs is a tune I had a guy supposed to tune it for me and he wanted to install the msd 8905 signal stabilizers for the timing triggers but the haltech ex6 has built in reluctors and the car ran before the tune got wiped so it probably doesn't need it but i do have the 2 msd 8509 convertors and ill through them in as well. The tuning guy was gonna do it as a side job for me but he keeps blowin me off, so the car has been sitting in my driveway for the past few months. All the fluids have been flushed about six months ago, and it has seen only a few miles right after the change. i bought it last winter and was trying to do some drifting events in the spring but couldnt get it going. Now its winter again and have no money or room for it anymore so it must go. The car turn on, cranks, and will start but it takes like 30 min to warm up and start. the ecu is loaded with a default map so all the settings are wrong and once it starts it will only rev to like 2K or 3K rpms. It needs a professional tune from a legit tuner but i dont know anyone around locally, and i cant tow out of state any time soon. A legit tune will cost $1000 unless you know someone or can do it yourself. I was told this setup can make 500hp to the wheels and be a 10 second car, I wanted to win some races but now lost the dream.
