Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my 29th Starsky & Hutch Ford Gran Torino. You can go to my website to see 50 high resolution photos of this car at ( http://www.bornagaintorinos.com ). This started out as a really nice Gran Torino I bought from the son of the original owner. It has always been garaged and maintained. I did not find one ounce of rust anywhere on this car. The original paint color from the factory was 2B Bright red just like the Starsky & Hutch limited editions. So the paint you see in the door jams, inside the trunk or under the hood is factory paint. The car was painted 4 weeks ago and is the correct colors to the TV show and the Ford Limited Editions. Of the 1,000 Ford Starsky & Hutch models made, on 80 had this black interior with white seats, door panels and headliner. All of which are in fantastic condition. The carpet is the only thing that has shown a little wear but still shows nicely. Everything works on this car even the optional Air Conditioning which blows nice and cold. So if you are in a hot climate, or a place that gets hot in the summer, the air with the cool white seats keeps you cool. The exhaust is the stock exhaust which sounds like it has a few leaks. You are more than likely to put dual exhaust on it anyway. The other options on this car is the rear window defogger/deicer, deluxe bumpers, Sport mirrors and anti sway bars. It still has the factory AM radio that works great still in the dash. The chrome and glass are all in great shape. It has brand new air shocks to get that TV show rake that is so famous. The wheels are vintage slot mags. 15" x 9" on the rear and 14" x 7.5" on the front. The tires have great tread. If you have been on the fence thinking of buying one of these babies, now is the time to act. They are getting harder and harder to find in this good of condition. This is not a frame off restoration, just a very nice, clean original Gran Torino that you can drive and enjoy. It has around 96,000 original miles. I don't know if the engine was ever rebuilt, but it starts and drive very nicely. Look over the videos carefully and ask any questions before you bid. As with any car you buy on ebay. It would always be a good idea to have a local mechanic do an inspection of the car and give you a report to make sure everything I have said about the car is accurate and give you peace of mind. I know it’s a scary thing buying a car, sight unseen on ebay hundreds of miles away. I know because I buy ebay cars too and know the feelings. That is why I build my own website with around 50 high resolution photos and videos of the car starting and running so you can do a virtual walk around and kick the tires. You can study the photos and really look it over. Copy this web address and paste it into the address bar in your browser ( http://www.bornagaintorinos.com ). You can also see the other 28 Starsky & Hutch Torinos I’ve sold on ebay and their owners. I don’t think you will be disappointed. Remember this is not a factory Starsky and Hutch Gran Torino and it is not a perfect car, just very, very nice. I don’t believe in “Reserves” so I’m starting it at a low but reasonable price. There is no “Down” payment when the auction ends. The “Full Amount” is due 48 hours after the end of the auction and is to be in the form of a “Bank Transfer” only. I feel, either you have the money for the car or you don’t. If you are bidding, you must have the money to pay for it or you wouldn’t be bidding. You could go to your bank and get a loan approved during the week of the auction, so when it ended, his money will be waiting for you. If you have any recent “Negative Feedback” or “No Feedback”, you must email me first before bidding or I will remove your bid. I have set up a website with around 50 high resolution photos and videos of the car for you to look at from all angles at ( http://www.bornagaintorinos.com ). You can call me at 509-928-3342 with any questions. The buyer is responsible for picking up and delivery of the car. The car is in Spokane, Washington on the Idaho/Washington border. The zipcode is 99206 so you can look into the transportation costs to get the car home.
