Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is this gorgeous 1976 Cadillac Eldorado convertible! This is a completely original beauty with only 19,000 original documented miles. The car looks and performs just as it did when rolling off the assembly line in Detroit. The car was previously owned by an older man who kept it in a heated garage. The car has never seen winter! The body is in all around excellent condition. No blemishes anywhere. The original paint (I call it Brady Bunch blue-green) is exceptional and there is absolutely no rust on the vehicle. The body panels and the fits are near perfect. The same can be said for the glass, wheel covers, chrome and tires. The convertible power top is in "brand new" condition and goes up and down with ease. The car comes with the original parade boot and protective covers. This car has never been in an accident. The under carriage and frame are solid and rust free. The interior is excellent condition as well. The original dark green upholstery is pretty much perfect. The dash, carpeting, door panels and Cadillac floor mats are all in great shape. All the gauges and electronics work to perfection. The A/C does need to be charged. The car is optioned with an automatic truck closure that also works perfectly. The original numbers matching motor and transmission perform like new. The car runs quiet, strong, straight, and stops on a dime. This car is loaded with every option available in 1976 including the “trumpet” horn! 1976 was the last of the Cadillac convertible produced. This makes the 1976 a very desirable collector car. Most surviving are either project cars or cars in need of restoration. This car is in excellent condition throughout. This car can be driven across country or saved for parades, car-shows and cruise nights. Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have. I am selling this car to make room in my garage so that I don’t have to store it for another winter. This car is a one of a kind beauty with a rare original color paint- If you are looking for a collector item, this is the one!
