Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a 1974 Triumph Trident T150V. The bike is a numbers matching lightly restored bike that runs and drives great. The motor is freshly rebuilt with almost no miles on it. It has new valves, pistons, bearing, rings, ,followers, springs, gaskets as well as a few other things that i am sure i am forgetting. All motor parts were either NOS or new made in Britten (no Chinese junk). The jug was bored .020 and the deck was ground flat on a surface grinder (about .01"was removed ). The bike has a new,Stanless, made in Britten brake master cylinder and a rebuilt caliper. As far as I can tell I am the 3rd owner. The bike was originally disassembled in the late 1970s for some kind of engine repair and was never put back together. Most of the parts were bought by the original owner, but i suppose he lost interest. The bike was then sold to a friend of mine who bought it some time in the late 1980s with plans to finish the reassembly. Again the bike sat in a disassembled state for many years. At some point my friend decided that he was more of a motorcycle rider than a motorcycle mechanic so he sold the bike to me. When i got the bike it was taken apart but surprisingly complete. The frame had a little surface rust so i had it sand blasted and painted with a heavy duty black enamel a few other bits got sand blasted and repainted, but for the most part the it bike only needed cleaning to look good. When i got the bike i wanted to retain as much of the original finish as possible so it is defiantly not totally perfect. The chrome, the paint on the tank and the upholstery are all original and in great shape for there age but, they are from 1974 so there is an acquired patina an everything. The bike is, for the most part totally stock, the only modifications are the lower Daytona stye bars, a braided stainless brake line and i put on fork gators when i rebuilt the forks. I have all the stock parts including the bars and front fender that will be included in the sale. The tach and speedo cable need to be replaced i just haven't gotten around to buying new ones. I also used reproduction turn signals on the back because the stock ones were to far gone. I am selling the bike because i need the money for other things and i haven't had much time to ride it recently. please feel free to ask any questions. Good luck.
