Selling a 1964 Mercedes 220SE Coupe. The 220SE Coupe has been sitting at a local Mercedes Repair here in Phoenix, Arizona for years !! The Repair Shop owner stated to me the previous owner was in the process of fixing and restoring the car...and spent over $3000 at the shop, after that the shop owner didn't hear back from him. He made attempts to contact the previous owner...but no response. The 220SE sat for years after that...stuck in the corner of the repair shop. I aquired the 220SE Coupe, went thru all the MVD Title hoops. I was very surprise that the ARIZONA MVD came back as 24K ORG. BOX "A" miles car, So according to Arizona MVD, this is a ORG 24K 220SE Coupe car. The 220Se appears to be a solid car, no apparent rust and or body damage on the car. the Chrome trim also appears to be complete, even though there are a few chrome pieces that have been remove and placed in the trunk. The 220se has 5 hub caps. There are misc parts in the trunk of the car. Air Condition , various engine parts, misc carpet pieces and chrome trim pieces. The engine appears to be complete, I was told by the shop owner that the engine was running in 2008. The engine has not been started since then.... But will need the usual going thru for an engine that hasn't been started in a while, oil, water, plugs, etc... The interior appears to be complete..... the wood will need to be redone, carpet, seats etc..... this is a restore project 220SE. This 220SE is a very good candidate for restoring.... Solid Car No apparent major dents, bumps or rust showing. With the 220 series rising on the collector market ...this would be a good invest in a Classic Mercedes Collector Coupe. Selling the 220SE Coupe as-is where-is condition. With a good ARIZONA TITLE. this is a restore project. Please ask questions.... will gladly answer them. I've tried to think of everything about the 220. Please ask questions. Will help with locating transportation of the 220 to you from Arizona.
