1995 BMW 840 ci:This car has always been garage kept, and hasn't been smoked in. It is in near perfect condition. No squeaks, rattles, knocks, clicks or any other abnormalities. The miles were mostly put on before I purchased the car, were advertised as highway miles, and obviously are exactly that. I live in Los Angeles myself, but have not used it for regular city driving. It's been my second car since 90,000 miles, driving up PCH now and then with an occasional trip to Louisiana, Texas or Northern California (without any trouble, I might add). I've kept it in amazing condition with an annual dent removal all around, regular clay bath and wax, and interior detailing (I have a sister that works at a dealership... all of this has been done religiously). Everything works perfectly-- down to the 6-CD changer, dual zone climate control, cruise control, flip up headlights, both functions of the sunroof, power mirrors, all lights (inside and out), and any other option that the car was originally equipped with. I even replaced the on-board computer to repair the non-working pixels about 2 years ago.Two things I will mention (both extremely minor) that make this car less than showroom contition: there is one slight sag in the headliner at the front driver's side corner (not torn or discolored), and the BMW rechargeable flashlight inside the glove box does not hold a charge.I shopped for this car for many months before choosing to purchase this exact one. This car is in MUCH better condition than the average 840 on the market today. It is powerful, solid, takes corners like no other car I've ever owned, and has an incredible factory sound system. It turns heads everywhere it goes. I've found people randomly taking their picture with it in parking lots on a few occasions. Everyone loves this car including myself. However, I recently started my own architectural firm and would rather give up the car I don't have time to enjoy rather than spend my savings account while completing our first few jobs.The car is located in Venice (Abbot Kinney Blvd.) and available for show by appointment.
