My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. I typically sell 5-10 vehicles per week on eBay with NO RESERVE. This auction will be slightly different than normal if you follow my auctions. I am an automotive broker, selling vehicles in volume. Each vehicle is thoroughly road tested before being listed on eBay. My descriptions are written from the time I spent driving this car. Every potential buyer is encouraged to see and drive a vehicle in person before buying. Vehicles are shown by appointment only at my York, PA storage facility. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for your consideration today is a 1988 Oldsmobile Toronado. The Toronado is one of my favorite vehicles. I buy every one I see...literally. I have a thing for obscure domestic collectibles. This Toronado is very well equipped, having both the Trofeo and FE3 Suspension packages. I would rate the exterior condition of this Toronado as EXCELLENT. It's obvious that this Oldsmobile has been very well taken care of. Please take the time to review all 60+ photos to fully appreciate the condition of this vehicle. The paint has a mile deep shine and looks great at any angle. One would be hard pressed to find a single noteworthy flaw in the finish of this car. All of the glass and lenses are in excellent condition. All of the chrome and black trim are also in excellent condition. The factory mud flaps are still in tact. The power antenna works properly. The automatic trunk closer works properly. The alloy wheels are in excellent condition. The matching Michellin tires have great tread all around. This is truly a no excuses car. I would rate the interior of this Toronado to be in EXCELLENT condition. As you can see, the interior of this Oldsmobile shows very well. Other then a small blemish on the drivers door arm rest, the door panels are both clean and in tact. The carpets are clean and new looking throughout. The leather seats are in great condition throughout. The seats are embroidered with Trofeo logos throughout and are very comfortable. The power seats all adjust properly. The power windows and locks work as they should. The digital dash is working properly and is easy to read. The climate control is fully automatic and working properly. The air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it is not blowing cold air. The stereo system is the original Oldsmobile premium Dimensional Sound which sounds excellent still. There are radio controls in the dash and a cassette player and eq down by the shifter. The "flipping" cup holder/change tray works great and looks new. The original manuals are still in the glove box and include detailed service records from 1992-present. The trunk is clean and spacious. This is truly a remarkable Toronado that is fit for any collection. Mechanically, this Oldsmobile appears to be in good running condition. The 3.8L engine starts up easily and runs smoothly. During my time driving this car, it has displayed excellent road manners. It keeps a normal operating temperature and excellent oil pressure. The suspension and steering are nice and tight. The brakes stop the car very well. The transmission shifts smoothly. The 3.8L engine is a great platform and makes lots of power. Accelleration is a breeze in this car. Cruising at highway speeds is effortless and smooth. The Toronado is an excellent touring coupe. It provides a comfortable ride and is easy to cruise in. I saw no leaks, no smoke...nothing unusual. I typically sell vehicles with NO RESERVE but this auction is an exception. Most of the vehicles I sell are fairly common and I would prefer to keep my inventory moving over sitting on a single unit holding out for a good price...but not with this one. As I said, I buy every Toronado I come across...and this is about the nicest 4th generation Toronado I have ever seen. The closest I have come to this is a one owner 40k mile one I had a few months back. I love cars like this. I own a Buick Grand National and a Cadillac Allante. The automatic trunk closer works properly. The alloy wheels are in excellent condition. The matching Michellin tires have great tread all around. This is truly a no excuses car.
I would rate the interior of this Toronado to be in EXCELLENT condition. As you can see, the interior of this Oldsmobile shows very well. Other then a small blemish on the drivers door arm rest, the door panels are both clean and in tact. The carpets are clean and new looking throughout. The leather seats are in great condition throughout. The seats are embroidered with Trofeo logos throughout and are very comfortable. The power seats all adjust properly. The power windows and locks work as they should. The digital dash is working properly and is easy to read. The climate control is fully automatic and working properly. The air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it is not blowing cold air. The stereo system is the original Oldsmobile premium Dimensional Sound which sounds excellent still. There are radio controls in the dash and a cassette player and eq down by the shifter. The "flipping" cup holder/change tray works great and looks new. The original manuals are still in the glove box and include detailed service records from 1992-present. The trunk is clean and spacious. This is truly a remarkable Toronado that is fit for any collection.
Mechanically, this Oldsmobile appears to be in good running condition. The 3.8L engine starts up easily and runs smoothly. During my time driving this car, it has displayed excellent road manners. It keeps a normal operating temperature and excellent oil pressure. The suspension and steering are nice and tight. The brakes stop the car very well. The transmission shifts smoothly. The 3.8L engine is a great platform and makes lots of power. Accelleration is a breeze in this car. Cruising at highway speeds is effortless and smooth. The Toronado is an excellent touring coupe. It provides a comfortable ride and is easy to cruise in. I saw no leaks, no smoke...nothing unusual.
I typically sell vehicles with NO RESERVE but this auction is an exception. Most of the vehicles I sell are fairly common and I would prefer to keep my inventory moving over sitting on a single unit holding out for a good price...but not with this one. As I said, I buy every Toronado I come across...and this is about the nicest 4th generation Toronado I have ever seen. The closest I have come to this is a one owner 40k mile one I had a few months back. I love cars like this. I own a Buick Grand National and a Cadillac Allante. I am in the business of selling cars but I have no problem keeping this until I find someone who will appreciate it as much as I do. Please bid to own...

All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auctions end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day.
Fees:
An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Buyer is responsible for their own taxes, tags and registration fees. 30 day transport tags are available through PennDOT to out of state buyers for $35.
