1995 Triumph Thunderbird

This is a 1995 Triumph Thunderbird. It is the first year of the Hinckly Thunderbird and has some unique features that were only available to the 1995 models. To start it has the alloy covers with the Triumph logo on the right side engine cover. It also has the on / off switch for the headlight which was only available again on the 1995 models. This bike has the Mikuni carbs which have been rejetted for the opened up airbox and K&N filter. It also has the Tiger rubber fitting on the carbs. This all allows for more air to the engine and when rejetted a bit more power. It has the Akront alloy wheels front and back, and chrome chain guard as well as chrome radiator cover. It also has the chrome gauge covers under the fairing. I replaced the speedo and tach bulbs with blue l.e.d. bulbs. Looks very cool at night. Corbin leather seat, great for long trips and to keep you in place when you accelerate. I have the clear blue Texas title in my name ready to transfer. All in all as you can see this is a very unique bike that starts and runs very, very smooth. Judge for yourself from the pictures. The only problem I have seen is it has a very slight oil weep on the right hand engine where the engine halves meet. It doesn't leave a drip on the ground it only weeps. The gas tank has a couple of small scratches from normal wear , but no dents. All lights, horn and blinkers work. It even has the flashing lights pass button. These triples sound amazing and their power is suprising. It has been a great bike ,but I must move on to the next project. Ask questions if you got 'em.
