Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a gorgeous 1998 Buick Riviera coupe. The Riviera has been a long running flagship coupe in the Buick line, lasting seven generations spanning decades. The lines of the Riviera are unmistakable. This example comes well optioned and dressed in dark green metallic over tan leather interior with chrome wheels. I would rate the exterior of this Buick as ABOVE AVERAGE. Although it is a used car, one would be hard pressed to find any flaws worth mentioning. The paint has a mile deep shine throughout and looks great from any angle. All of the glass and lenses appear to be in tact. The tires have plenty of tread left, too. The chrome wheels look great. The two center caps on the left wheels are not the correct caps. This car really turns heads driving down the road and commands a presence anywhere it is parked. I would also rate the interior condition of this Buick to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition. As soon as you swing open the large door, you are greated by a very well kept interior. The carpets are clean and look new throughout. The headliner is clean and in tact, too. The door panels are clean. The window switch panel of the drivers door is a little loose. The seats are in excellent condition throughout and show almost no wear. Some of the interior wood trim is starting to come loose at the corners as most do with age. The trunk is spacious and clean. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be functioning properly. The air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold. The stereo is the original premium Buick Concert Sound which offers an in dash CD player and sounds perfect. There are steering wheel controls for both audio and climate control. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The power windows, locks, mirrors, seats and sunroof all work properly. This Buick is equipped with Homelink integrated garage door openers. Included in the glove compartment is a set of owners manuals. This car is equipped with factory remote entry which is working properly. Overall, this is an outstanding example of a desirable vehicle. Mechanically, this Riviera appears to be in good running condition. This Riviera has a newer PA safety and emissions inspection. The 240hp supercharged V6 fires right up and runs smoothly. I noticed no leaks or smoking from this engine. During my time driving this car, it has displayed excellent road manners. The ride is smooth and composed as it should be. The brakes feel good and the steering is tight and responsive. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Thanks to the powerhouse V6, accelleration is effortless. Cruising at highway speeds is an absolute dream in this car. The only thing I am aware of that this car will need mechanically would be a cam position sensor. Paypal is accepted for the initial deposit only...not the balance.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auctions end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day.
Fees:
An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Buyer is responsible for their own taxes, tags and registration fees. 30 day transport tags are available through PennDOT to out of state buyers for $35.
This auction is a legally binding contract to buy this vehicle. All vehicles are sold as-is unless otherwise specified. I have done my best to accurately describe this vehicle. It is up to the buyer to come see and further inspect the car before the end of the auction.-->
